My husband totally does not get the DIS at all. Last night I'm laughing out loud at the Poo watch among others and he thinks we are all a bunch of nutjobs. Just really does not get it.

Does your spouse get your DISING?

My dh doesn't DIS, but he doesn't mind me doing it--- well sometimes if I'm on too long he does. He actually says to me "did you tell your friends......." alot. He's a Keeper!

I guess mine is a keeper too, because he always says "are you gonna tell your disboard friends..." but it is with a twinge of malice!

Actually he doesn't really get into WDW either!!! I was planning this last vacation and he actually had enough nerve to say, there are other places to go on vacation other than WDW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I said NO THERE ISN'T!!!!!!

Needless to say, we have a trip booked for next Sep!!!!!!!!!

My Dh doesnt get it, so I try not to dis when he is home.

He also wasnt amused about my 1st tag. He still isnt laughing about streaking through the house one night, and less thrilled that I had been sharing the story.

Hey if you cannot laugh about streaking and Poo watching with some like minded disney nuts, then you are too tight and need a disney fix!

My dh didn't get it until our last cruise and he saw all the people I had meet on the boards. I kept running into people throughout the cruise and would say hello and my DH would ask me where I meet them, "The Dis silly!".

Actually he doesn't really get into WDW either!!! I was planning this last vacation and he actually had enough nerve to say, there are other places to go on vacation other than WDW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I said NO THERE ISN'T!!!!!!

My DH doesn't get it but rarely gives me a hard time. I think he thought things would slow down when we got back from this last trip, but lo and behold, I've found the Community Board.

Well I have it worse A DW that just doesn't get it at all.

I do all the planning saved $120 on our Dec flights last night and no reaction at all,nothing ,natta,zip.

I plan all of this for the family and all she says is a day at the beach would be nice can't we just drive for the day.

She thinks sometimes I'm having an affair while she is sleeping right next to me when I'm DISing late at night here in bed

She doesn't get that there are still very nice people in this world that just want to share or give stuff away with not wanting anything in return but more info gained. .

I just smile and tell her I could just go to the strip clubs with the husbands of her friends at work

When I first started DISing My DH kept asking me if I was having an "affair" on line ... Hello Middle aged mom here !! Now he just say's "What did the girls have to say today dear" He has a hard time admitting that "he" had a blast tossing back a few cold ones with the other Diser Hubby's poolside on our last trip.

Good news... He asked if we were going back next year

Not only does my DH not DIS, he saw me reading one of Angel's posts and thought that her Chachi picture was the owner of the post I was reading.

(Does that even make sense? Bottom line - he thought Angel was Chachi.)

He started getting jealous! He was actually asking me who I was talking to and who were they... and all these questions. I was like, "Hello! Happy Days???"

He still didn't get it, so I had to google Chachi and show him. My DH thought I was having an affair with Chachi.

DD16 on the other hand, LOVES to read people's tags! She'll sit here and read over my shoulder. The only bad thing about that is, she makes me go back over posts I've already read, so that she can see what everyone has.

DMIL, on the other hand, thinks it's a bit strange. She's a little leary of the whole Internet thing. I keep reminding her that it's a family message board but I suspect deep down she thinks it's something like one of those chatrooms featured on Dateline.

No, he doesn't get it at all. Sad, really...

He knows what it is and that I enjoy it, but that's the extent of it.

When we got wireless internet, and I got my new laptop, and was sitting on the couch DISing, he went and got his laptop so he could check to see if he'd received any new files (work) and I told him he could start DISing now too! He just rolled his eyes. All I have to say is he just doesn't know what he's missing!!
