Hey Laura Sunds like you are having thanksgiving at your house, too. SO, what ya making?

We are going to my SIL house. Normally we go to my MIL, but she did not feel like doing it all herself this year. She has been doing it for probably at least 25 years.

Hey all.

Trent and Steve spent the afternoon putting up our inflatables.

Then we ran to Walmart and got a new tree. We needed a tall slim one.

We got it put up and all decorated, minus our tree topper. We think we are going to hit the disney store next week and pick up a Tinkerbell one, as it was just too cute

Plus, we got a musical light show to plug into our lights that is awesome. You can hear it inside the house. It blinks the lights to the tune of the music and has 20 songs.

After work, Steve went over to gas station and filled up our propane tank.

So we are nice and toasty warm again

I went outside to get something out of the car and it was snowing. Just a little bit of flurring

Its way too early for that extreme cold and snow. make it stop, so you can save on oil and propane!!!!

Hi Sharky! We painted Aidans room tan and navy blue and did a sports theme. It looks great but I was a little sad because we had to take down the Mickey stuff Between his room and his Christmas list I am beginning to realize that I don't have a little boy anymore! But he did ask if he could keep a few Mickey items on his shelves! The boy does have Disney in his veins!


I am excited about the idea of May. We really want to try the waterparks and there is supposed to be a Pirate and Princess Party while we are there. I am trying really hard not to plan yet because until we do taxes and get to raise time, it is not guarenteed that we are going. I am crossing my fingers!

It has been really hard to get to the computer this week but I have really good news to share! Only Sharky and Love know this already, but we adopted our kids, all at birth. Well today the agency called to tell me that Abbys final order of adoption was signed this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is just a formality but still exciting because now we can get her birth certificate and claim her on our taxes!!! Even though her birthmother could not have changed her mind, it is still nice to know that it is completely official! So now we have even more to be thankful for!!!!!!

Hi Laura!!! Sounds like you are keeping busy. You don't have to really "plan" May yet but you can do some research, that will get you excited.

Well congratulations Laura, I didn't know that about your kids but hey they are some lucky kids and you are some lucky parents. They are very special indeed because you got to pick them out, that is wonderful! They'll always know for sure how much they were wanted.

I didn't know you couldn't claim them on your taxes before the final order goes through. You were the one raising them and paying for their care, you should have been able to claim them all along.

Now it's official though and that's wonderful. I'm so happy for all of you!

You should see all the snow outside my house. It sucks. I hate to even venture outside in it.

It is freezing! Did you all get the snow that we got?? Yikes. I don't know if it is just because I'm in the mountains, but it was crazy yesterday. The fire whistle just kept going off all day because there were accidents all over the place.

My friend is coming in from England on Thanks giving so we won't be actually celebrating in the usual thanksgiving manner. She comes in at 3 and by the time she gets through customs and gets her luggage it will be after 4 so we'll just go out to eat.
