Are we bad mouthing soaps? I am an ABC soap junkie. Drives DH crazy - but I got to have it! I blame in on my mom since they were playing in the house the whole time I was growing up. General Hospital was the only place I ever heard the name Laura until high school!!!!

I've been watching Desperate Housewives since it started in 2004. I was on one of my out of town trips in Ashtabula, OH. I was in my hotel room by myself bored out of my mind and this new show was coming on so I thought, why not?? I was hooked after the first episode. Love it!

I booked this deal yesterday for May! But now my TA called me this morning and found me an even better deal for January. Now I am torn because it is cheaper to go in Jan but we chose May to make sure we had all of the $$ before we go. I don't know what to do?!?!?

I'm glad you're so open minded about it. That's another issue I feel very strongly about. Probably why I stay out of the political threads. I'm pretty sure I'd be banned by now for telling some of the people off. I can't believe I never got points for telling off the guy who said we all knew we didn't want black people living near us. We got our posts removed and I'm pretty sure he either got points or banned, but I didn't get a thing.

I don't understand how we live in a country that can elect an African American president, but we still think it is ok to judge who people marry? It makes me angry and makes me wish I live in CA so I could have voted!!!!

Well, I guess you have to be ready cause he's coming soon whether you want him to or not! I can't believe you're not at that stage yet where you just want him out. I got that towards the end of all of my pregnancies. I did NOT like being pregnant.

Yeah, well, carrying around that extra baby weight will do that to you . BIGISH?? Holy crap, I spent almost $400 on the Wii and a few accessories! That's HUGE! So what games did you all get?

im half and half at that want him out stage.. some days I really just want to be done but other days I dont mind it and kinda wish it wasnt almost over.. i think i had that want him out now stage in the summer when it was hot.. but now that its cold again I dont mind anymore..

we spent only like $350 (basically what he usually gives his mom for bills that she let him keep to get his "bigish" thing) and got the console and this Wii Play game that came with an extra remote and we got mario cart.. we need to get another nunchuk but it will wait.. plus its not as expensive as the remotes.. so that will wait.. we take turn playing the games you need it for since we only have one.. Mario cart is easier with the remote and nunchuck than with the wheel thing.. i beat Josh like 10 times and hes video game king and a sore loser! he went to bed all sad sackish last night after I beat him! once we get another nunchuck he will probably beat me allll day long.. so I am going to rub it in till then!

Congratulations on your May trip. When in May? I keep trying to convince Scotty that we need to got to Disneyland in the beginning of May.

Welcome to my soapbox. This proposition really invoked a lot of passion in California. I could not believe that a state that is so known for being liberal could vote yes on this. My daughters raised the question that if a marriage is a religious thing as they stated for the arguement how can that be. It makes marriage against the law because there is no seperation of church and state then because a licence is required. Okay I am done with my rant. Incidently my family voted NO!

I want to go May 2-7, that is over Scotty and my birthday. I have always wanted to go to Disneyland for my birthday. We have done all of our kids birthdays and my Mom's birthday and I think it is our turn.

I have decided that nothing will ever amaze as to the ignorance of my fellow man as it were. Honestly I was amazed that Barack Obama was actually elected. I actually checked the news first thing on Wednesday morning to make sure that it wasn't all a dream.

His mother has a doctor's appointment up here and they didnt let her know til after she left. So they rented a car and drove up here. They were only gone for like 3 weeks... and do u know how much they spent in gas? only $72.00 We dont know how long they are gonna be here but we do know they'll be here for my boyfriend's birthday and thanksgiving. (but i hope they arent here for too long cause i got use to walking around the house in short shorts, and i cant do that with his dad there

Didn't really want the girls to sit in that, especially the baby (who is 8 months old today! ). I am feeling guilty not being there but dh says I am setting unrealistic expectations making him think I will always be there for everything. I think he should know that if I am capable of being there I will be. Are we putting way too much into a football game??

Still haven't decided on the the Jan/May trip. It will be $1000 cheaper to go in Jan but the trip may have to go on a credit card until taxes. I like the idea of the May weather better but the Jan crowds are right up my alley! I only have 2 more days to decide.

May weather is awesome. Crowds are great!! THe flower and Garden Festival at Epcot is gorgeous. We went in May 2006 and 2007.

Plus, on Mothers day, they give out carnations I believe it was to all the mothers.
