I would pick the Disneyland Hotel.. but thats just me and the child in me! the grand californian seems nifty.. but really doesnt appeal to me for some reason.. same with Paridise Pier.. I really liked the Disneyland hotel!

I love the Disneyland Hotel, but the Grand is more romantic for sure. Disneyland is set up so different than Disneyworld it is feasable to stay off property and be as close as the Resort Hotels. Here is a website that shows you how close everything is.

Honestly the onsite hotels are nice because of the theming but the others are so much cheaper making more money for souviners and all of the good food and stuff.

On the boards check out what I call the food porn. The Disneyland Dining reviews with pictures. Oh my. That will give you an idea of the different foods.

Do you have to know, that if I were to fly into John Wayne airport when we come to Disneyland, if there are shuttles to the disneyland hotels?

Just curious since it is so close

Never having flown there I could say I don't know but this I do know. If you stay at the resort hotels there is a bus type thing I have seen there that picks people up. I think it's called like the Disneyland Express or some such. And yes Sharky, research is so important. And it is never to early to start.

He is playing a Mickey Mouse game on the computer where he puts cars together and gives them paint jobs.

Oh Carla there are a lot of really good Disneyland guides, so good luck. Only I have forsaken Barnes and Noble because of rude employees. Thankfully we have a Borders in Vacaville. That's the next town and because we live on the far end of town it is just a little farther to Borders.

Sharky, Kacy was so terrible about the liquid Prednisone that she wouldn't even take it in the ice cream. Have you ever tasted that stuff? If memory serves me right it's awful.

have appt with DR on Tues for a consult, but does not look likely they would give me a just in case pres for our trip..

hi chele, i saw a bunch on amazon.com i really like the UG for WDW so ill probably end up with that first for DL then add to the collection. Sorry the barnes n noble by you is so bad. Oh and I would love to see the other disneyland web sites you have links to

Sometimes Dr's are so stupid. I understand that there are parents that they need to worry about but they should be able to tell from years of treating Huey that it would be safe.
