DISing Weightloss Club

Hey everyone. I hope your weekend was ok. I worked (as always) and we were so busy. Ice cream+warm weather =nuts!!

Let's give up on ourselves. We can keep it going.

Debbie

Scott hear you are going to your trainer tomorrow. Can't wait to hear how it goes.

I hope you meant "let's NOT give up on ourselves"!!! :rotfl:

The good: I ran 13 miles Saturday! :woohoo:

The bad: I got a Sonic Blast with M and Ms yesterday :guilty:

The ugly: I ate DINNER from Sonic today :sad2:

I don't know why I'm on a Sonic kick, but I need to stop right now!

I went for a 45 minute walk this evening to atone for my Sonic sins. Hopefully, that will cancel out a small portion of the horrible eating!

I need to get back on track tomorrow!

Good luck at the trainers Scott!

So far I have resisted the Dairy Queen temptation that comes along with the warm weather, hopefully I can stay strong.

Thanks for everyone for keeping us encouraged! I haven't had the greatest week in terms of eating - been a bit stressed with work. I know April 15 has come and gone but I have one more deadline of April 30 and seem to be having problems with everything I pick up. :sad2:

Swans: That is awesome about the 13 miles! You deserve the Sonic!

Have a great rest of the week everyone!

The last week has been a stressful one at my house. My younger brother had to have a screw put into his foot. So keeping a 16 year old occupied becauase he can't go outside or do a lot of things right now is stressful :scared1: Hopefully things will start getting better in that department soon!!

Last night I was stressed so I took a de stress walk by myself lol. I didnt make it far but at least I went..lol...Since my mom would feel bad leaving my brother at home, I have lost my walking buddy until he gets over his moods. So after that soap box there, my weight has basically stayed the same for about 2 weeks now. I am hoping for a loss this week though!

thank you both. I fear the locker room more. me the fatness and everyone else the thinness. :scared1:

Don't think like that Scott, a lot of people who join gym's are after the same thing as you, to lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle. They will not judge you as many of them may have been in the same position as you when they started out at the gym. In fact they will probably admire you for having the drive to take control. :thumbsup2

I'm hopping on board.... I'm Kat.:thumbsup2 31. Recently my husband (23) and I have decided to start changing the stuff we eat and the way we eat. We both gained the "marriage weight" since we are only married for 3 years its been a chubby few years! We are trying to let the nice weather get us out more but its hard so I'm hoping for some inspiration via this thread. I ahve no scale at the moment but I think we are picking one up soon. I weigh more than I'd like to admit and have no real goals, just to look better for myself. We are eating much better these days but its been a bad few weeks, too much take out and a little fast food thrown in. Anyways thats my story and I;m sticking to it!

Welcome Kat. Glad you could join us. :grouphug:

Welcome, Kat!!

I've been quiet this week because I had such a lousy weekend food wise. I'm trying to make up for it before Friday. Of course, now my work schedule is nuts and I'm finding it had to find time to exercise.

As soon as Em gets off the Wii, I'm getting on the treadmill!!!

Hi Kat.

well the gym went well. My arms and my legs r sore. I think this is something I can stick to.

she asked me my hobbies and I mentioned Disney and she she hated it when she went. :faint:

I then told her she was fired. :rotfl2:

she hated because she went when she was 10 yrs old and with her father and his new girlfriend and her horrible daughter.
She turns 21 in 2 months so I told her to go back and go drink around the world. :lmao:

HI ALL!!!!! Thanks for the warm welcome!

So how do I get my DH to want to walk when he gets home from work? We keep saying we will but we always end up just walking to go get some snack or something instead ! LOL.

put on an ipod or whatever and go by yourself if he does not want to. once he sees it work for you then he will join you..

Welcome Kat!! We are here for any encouragement you need! I always like to go on walks and I get people to go with me by telling them if not then I am going by myself..lol..They usually don't want me to go on my own since we live in the city so I get someone to go with me :rolleyes1

Hey Kat, I'm happy to see you followed my link over! :goodvibes

Scott, happy to hear that the training session went well. The soreness is good it means that what you were doing is working. :thumbsup2
