to our newbies!!
I am nervous about my first weigh in tomorrow. I've done much better that I thought I would this week, and it's mostly from knowing the results would be on here!!
I did have a little scar on the Elpti-kill this morning. I can only do five minutes, but when I got to about 4:30, I suddenly couldn't catch my breath!! I pushed through, but I was wasted by the end!! I don't know what that was all about. I was fine after a few minutes. I guess I didn't realize how out of shape I really am. I went on and did the weights.

Hi. I've been lurking on the trip reports for about a week now and just found this group (THanks UtahMama for pointing it out in one of your trip reports!) Anyway, I am always trying to lose weight. It was easier when I lived in Florida because I had a constant reminder. I always said, As long as I can still fit through the turnstiles and on to the ride at Space Mountain, I'm ok.Now that I live in Missouri, I don't have the constant reminder. And let's face it, it's time to lose. I was really successful on Nutrisystem 2 years ago, but they changed their recipes and added more soy. Turns out, I'm allergic to soy.
So, here I am joining my new Dis friends in a hopefully successful attempt to lose weight.
Short term goal: 10 pounds/month
Disney goal (for trip in October): 65 pounds lost
Before I die goal: to weigh 150 pounds (and I'm not quite brave enough to post how much I have to lose to make that.)
Thanks for all the inspiration this place provides. Oh wait, when is weigh in day???

Wow everyone is doing great! I was just wondering what kind of tricks people have to not snack? That is my bigges issue.. especially when I am at work. I work on a computer all day so I am always munching on something. Any help would be great.

Add me to the losers. I am down 2.4 lbs!! I am so happy!!! Now comes the weekend though, which is always the hardest for me. I've got a list of things I want to get done so maybe I won't be eating constantly for two days straight. One of which is my trip report update! I've got to get it done, but I've just not been to inspired lately.
Sorry my weighin is so late. I work the 6 am shift on Fridays so I'll probably always be the last.
