dishwashers - how often do you run?

DW usually runs it 2-3 tmes/week, or when it's full, whichever comes first. There's only the 2 of us, so it doesn't get full daily.

We run ours every night. We have a delay switch, so I set it for 4 hours right before we go to bed. The dishes get washed, I don't have to listen to it. Now when we have "Pizza Hut" night we can skip a night. I always wanted my mom to get a dishwasher and she would say "Why do I need one, I all ready have two." Meaning my brother and I. I love my dishwasher, it makes my life easier and my hands are in great shape.

I usually do a load of dishes every other day. I used to run a load every night, but since DS is usually out and about DH and I just don't get that many dishes dirty.

we make sure its completelly full before we run it. With the messes I make (trying out new recipes, experimenting, etc. ) Thats sometimes 2 times a day.

We only put in dishes and glasses. Never pots and pans and rarely "preparation items" like bowls, etc. We run the dishwasher about every other day or so. (We also do not put our silverware in, it is cheap and gets rust spots. )

where I live, so I certainly don't run it unless it's full. That usually translates to almost every day, sometimes twice on weekends.

We run it nightly unless we have had company and we have more than one load but we usually make one load daily.

Used to run ours every day when the kids were home but now that it's just myself and DH it's sometimes 2-3 days before I run it, and always when it's full. I wash the coffee pot by hand, and there are some large pots/pans that I won't put in the dishwasher either, but will wash by hand.

Cat food bowls in the dishwasher? Eeewwww!!!!!
