DISers will LOVE this! PODCASTS!

You can also find Podcast for other things too besides Disney..

DH and I have Yahoo's Podacst plugin which works pretty much like ITunes, and we subscribe to so many of them, and it will automatically download them for us as they are published. We have computer stuff, theme park stuff, ghost stuff...Its so cool. We burn them to CD and play them on that way as we do not have a MP3 player yet.

Can someone tell me how to get the podcast's ON my Ipod Nano? I downloaded them, and they are in my "podcast" section, but I cannot figure how to get them on my ipod. Help!

Yes... Once you subscribe, be sure that in your iTunes preferences, you click on Podcasts, then on iPod Preferences. Click Automatically Update All Podcasts, and any podcasts that you have checked off on the (say, for example, Mouse|Tunes ;) ), will be transferred to your iPod when you Update. (To manually update, click on File - Update "XX" iPod)

Hope that helps!

Thank you Lou! Very simple, I feel silly for not figuring it out myself. I just loaded your latest podcast on my Ipod! Can't wait to listen to it on my next commute to work.

We have a new show up (and yes, we have worked out our levels issues! This show sounds better than ever!)

Our first show of 2006 is packed with the sounds of WDW on New Year's Eve, Disney News, a visit to the WDW Rumor Mill, an interveiw with Disney Imagineeer and Artist Lon Smart, our contest winner, plenty of trivia, music and more!

I love these!!! great to listen to on the train ride to work!!! ::yes::

Thanks Lou! We just drove 12 hours back from Disney a couple of days ago and listened to all of your past podcasts on the way. I'm currently listening to the one you mentioned and I just wanted to let you know how much I love your show!

I love the interviews with Imagineers! I am an Engineer and I am trying as hard as I can to get my foot in the door with WDI. Next time that you interview one of them make sure that you let them know that they REALLY need to hire me! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Keep the shows coming!!

Thanks,
Jana

I haven't heard anyone else say this, so here it goes.....

ALL the Disney podcasts are GREAT. If you love Disney, then you should like alittle bit about each of them. I really don't think any are better than any others, just some have different segments and topics they cover thatn others.

We have given "props" to all the Disney podcasts on our show and will continue to listen to each of them religiously. I mean we LOVE getting all Disney talk, all the time. :earsboy:

By the way, read my signature and check out our ALL DISNEY Vidcast/podcast if you havent yet.

Over at Mouse Guest Weekly, we've just started a Disney Toon Tournament to see what you think is the best animated Disney movie of all time. Check out this week's show for details on how to vote; it's not too late!

DH just downloaded a bunch of podcasts to his computer and he's listening to some of them right now!

Now for the question...if you download them from itunes, can you put them on a regular Mp3 player, not an ipod?

Absolutely! You can burn them to CD or transfer them to any MP3 player (I'm pretty sure that is true, I have only tried with 3 different MP3 players). I have also found that the podcasts that I download in Itunes are also available through my Windows Media Player. My daughter has a MixStick and it uses Media Player and we haven't had any problems transfering to it! If all else fails I think you can just open your "my music" folder and drag and drop the files to the drive the the MP3 player is on.

Yes, once the files are on your computer, you can usually drag and drop them into your player (depending on the player itself, software, etc) I know that for our MouseTunes podcast, you can just download the MP3 file right from our site, rather than having to go through iTunes.
