Yesterday for my birthday, my fiancee surprised me with an iPod nano. I love it! After loading all of my of my favorite Disney music onto it (Illuminations first!) I then found these things called Podcasts. They are like little independent radio shows that you put on your iPod to listen to later. Well, there are many shows that are directed at EXACTLY this audience! One is called Inside the Magic, which has a website that you can find if you search Google. It like having the DIS in your ears or in the car! It is awesome! These shows are updated weekly, if not more, and can be downloaded automatically to your computer, then they just need to be thrown onto your iPod. They really are cool. They have so much Disney World information it will make your head spin! I learned all about The Living Seas reopening, and heard an interview from an Imagineer that designed Pirates of the Carribean last night! You should defintely check these things out! They are great!!

Is there anyone else on here who has found these Podcasts? Which are your favorites? I just got my iPod yesterday, so still looking for more Disney information to put on it!

You can go to I-TUNES > PODCAST
Do a search of disney and they will all come up most FREE some do charge .Yuo don't need an I-POD to download you could just listen on your computer.
They are great I started with the LIVE 50 yr Ann. at DL and have been hooked ever since.

My favorite is 1313 south blvd - it's located at www.1313southharborblvd.com They have actual Disney music w/attractions. It's only focused on DisneyLand though, so I hope to find one for DisneyWorld soon.

How much memory do you need on your ipod to download these podcasts? If I bought a 1GB would that be enough? How about a 512mb? Or do I need a 20GB? I know almost nothing about them, but have been thinking about purchasing one for my niece. Sounds like I might like one for ME!

I have right now 8 items PODs' in my libray 3.9 hrs @ 150 mb. It just all depends on what ones you dwnld.

It's nice to listen to while on the DIS' sometimes I'll be reading something and think hey I just heard about that.

A 1GB will do you fine, but you probably wont be able to keep every single episode plus your other music on it at one time.

I love my podcasts, they get me through my work day. My two favs that I have been listening to since the beginning are Inside the Magic and Mouse Guest Weekly. LOVE them both. Even won something on Inside the Magic one week! Just started a few weeks ago with WDW today so far so good. And yeah Skipper Ben cracks me up with his corny jokes.

I just discovered the podcasts last week, and already have subscribed to 4!!!! and can't decide which I love best. They all have their own things I love!!!

I just hope they can keep up with my disney fix need!!!!
