DISers Unite again HELP get ROOMS Judged!!!

Thanx Yikes - I was chatting with him, then I couldn't talk, then I had a crazy crash!!
OK, now I'm back in to MousseDude's room - he took some furniture out!

thanks anyway. Every time i try and go into my room now it crashes. I really hope it is either on my end (and my lovely DSL) or something with vmk. Anyway, if i dont walk away from the comp at this point i will end up throwing it out the window. seriously. I just hope i can get back in there at some point as i have about $40,000 worth of stuff in there and it would stink even more if i cant ever get back in there.

Anywho, didnt want you all looking for me all day. If i ever get back in i'll try and hook up with the group to room hop.

Mike, I just tried to get into your room and it freaked out on me too! Got a "can't find object" error message, it did not load Pilikia, and then it also would not let me exit the game! Had to terminate the whole process in the control panel...is that what has been happening to you?

that was one wicked error!!! I could not get my computer to do anything!! Had to do a total shut down, came back on and got same error message!! Now I cannot get back on!

Me too, could not get rid of the director errors. Used the Task Manager to shut down. I got back into the room but as soon as I did, got the VMK Crashed message. I think it's just Dude's room. Too much stuff. I got to see it and it really looks cool. I just wish he could get judged.

I think i broke vmk temporarily lol.

I have seen other rooms with tons of people and furniture, but i think requiring vmk to remember THAT many crates, their location, what was on top of them, etc was just too much.

So we ditched a few fountains, LOTS of crates, and some other stuff. Now it seems ok, we had about 12-13 people in there but it was just too late.

THANK YOU! to everyone that came, and if you'd like to come again i'll be back in there by 5:45 eastern so we can start to prop it up the list quick and hopefully not spend an eternity in there lol.

Thanks again everyone. The idea seemed good on paper, but had to be toned down a bit. So think of it now as MousseDudes Pin Trading "lite" lol.

And bella, those errors freaked me out! I never saw anything like that before. And it wouldnt even let me in at all for a while. You saw how much stuff i had in there, i couldnt imagine losing all of that lol.

For those souls not brave enough to enter, heres a pic of the (almost) original version of the room, except there were two more fountains on the left there (4 total). And here is that freaky error message i got:

But, the room has been made more "user friendly" now lol.

I'm fine with starting in MousseDude's place. I hope that my cable holds out. My cable modem keeps crashing on me. I just let it take an hour rest with no power. Let's hope.

Yes Mike you did break VMK and I was just frozen could not do anything all I could do was "ok"to that handler not found message and then another would pop up over and over and over I felt like I was in the TWILIGHT ZONE!!!!


had to restart computer and gave up just now trying to log back into VMK. Keep those fingers crossed....is that what happens when you overload a room? If so let's not do that again!

Yeah, and i overloaded with stuff that you have to BUY not people. You would think PixieBella would just HEART that i bought so much stuff, but nooooooo, she gives me that tink attitude.

ps, when i did a quick count on the original room design, if you counted individual items it was over 450, so i think that was a bit much lol.
