Oh, Sarah, I just saw that you are not doing an Epcot day. How sad. I think you really should. You are doing a lot to give your family this trip, and I think they can suck it up and let you have 1 day to do what you want to. Really, Soarin' Test Track, Mission Space, The Living Seas with the Nemo stuff for the little ones and Turtle Talk with Crush is cool even for the older ones. Then just strolling around and taking it easy in the evening before Illuminations as a Grand Finale. Oh, well as you can tell, I love Epcot and woulldn't dream of a trip to WDW without it. I really think they need to give it another try. And of course you could add on the hopper which I think is $40 per ticket and do a half day. Whatever, I just hope you get to see the BeeGees band. Oh, I just realized that maybe you thought it was the real Bee Gees. No, it is just a Bee Gees Tribute band that does covers of their music. They are called Stayin' Alive.

Wow... do I feel dumb. I did think it was the BeeGees, but now that I think about that it is really impossible. I guess I just got over excited.

I didn't know you could add on park hopper for one day. If that is the case, then I will seriously have to think about it. It would be great to do Epcot for half a day.

The park hopper is a flat rate whether you use it for 1 day or 10. It's around $45

Good Morning!!! What is everyone doing today? We're just hanging around the house today. DH is pressure washing the driveway before our outdoor water restrictions go into effect on Friday. I have a couple of things to monogram...extra spending $$ for Disney!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: We'll cook out hamburgers & hot dogs for dinner.

We are cleaning out the garage. Well, we did it this morning and dh decided to go take some books to half price books to sell so now I'm waiting on him. I sure hope it doesn't rain before he gets back. I got most of the stuff back into the garage but want some help washing out some of the other things. Boy did we have a ton of "garbage" in there and I also now have a nice stack of things to throw at our garage sale. We pulled out the kids summer toys. It really didn't take us as long as I thought it would. The only thing left is to clean up since we discovered we have mice in the garage again. Grrrrr! All the construction in our area drives them into our garage every spring.

Happy Memorial Day!! I did some packing this morning. Now I am on my way to buy a refrigerator. The house I got doesn't come with one. Then later we are having a cook-out with family.

I hope everyone has a great day!!!

I am going shopping!! Gotta love those Memorial Day Sales!! Hope everyone has a great holiday!

DM - I thought we already established that the DVC membership was MINE!!!!:lmao:

Darling - WE established nothing. I want that DVC membership. You can have the castle stay or a dream fastpass! :lmao:

Just to set the record straight... I am getting the DVC membership... but I will give you each a few points! I would LOVE the castle stay... but only if I could win it on my last night... otherwise it would ruin my schedule! The shopping spree would be nice...

I would like to know... Do you all have a tradition of what you do first at WDW?

This is only our second family trip to WDW, so no traditions. We will check in early, and hopefully be able to get into our room. Then we will go to 1900 Park Fare for brunch. After that, we will do Star Wars Weekend at MGM for the day, then hop to MK for EMH. (DM... update for daily schedule! June 17)

Oh, Sarah, I just saw that you are not doing an Epcot day. How sad. I think you really should.

JMHO... Epcot was a favorite of both kids last year. I think they even liked it better than MK... go figure! There is plenty in the front 1/2 of the park for them to spend the day, and you can schedule your ADR in the WS. Illuminations was great, also.

The only thing left is to clean up since we discovered we have mice in the garage again. Grrrrr! All the construction in our area drives them into our garage every spring.

We get them under the house, in the crawl space. Problem is, we are scared to put out poison because of the dog. She can't get into the poison, but we worry the mice will come out into the yard, where she could get them. :sad2: Luckily, we have only had a couple, so traps worked.

I am going shopping!! Gotta love those Memorial Day Sales!! Hope everyone has a great holiday!

The girls and I just got home from a spur of the moment shopping trip!! We went to the Children's Place, The Disney Store and Bath & Body Works. I got Alyssa 2 more pairs of the croc like flip flops, a lime green short set and a couple of skorts at the Children's Place. At B&BW I got 10 bottles of antibacterial soap at 5 for $10. At the Disney Store I got the girls and me each a beach towel, one of the Tiki shirts for our Ohana night & some slippers for Alyssa. I'm getting ready to go!!! I didn't get DH a shirt but I have gotten him several Disney shirts over the past few months.

I'm having a bad memorial day. I'm dealing with Honda car problems and I'm in a bad mood.

I'm sorry!! I hate car problems!! What kind of Honda do you have?

I would like to know... Do you all have a tradition of what you do first at WDW? Do you ride a certain ride first? Or eat at a certain restaurant first? What is going to be the first few things you do this year even if it isn't tradition?
We will be getting in too late to do anything but go to sleep. I can't really say that we have any traditions right now as this is only the 2nd time the boys are going for a full week and the first time for a full week for Brooke. I don't count the 1-day trips. I guess one thing that we are definitely doing that we have done twice already is go to Crystal Palace. This is a must for lunch. And Sci-Fi for lunch also. Otherwise, we are going to "go with the flow" to suit the kids moods and wants (and ours too). I have definite things set up but am planning most afternoons as resting times if needed.

I have to agree with CK here. It is a shame that you aren't at least spending 1 day in Epcot. It is such a wonderful place. There are quite a few things your boys will love there!

I have an '03 Civic, it's been leaking antifreeze. Third time this year it has been in for the same dang problem.

I have been so busy for the past week, and haven't been checking in. It took me 2 days to catch up! (26 pages! :scared1: ) DM... love the daily schedules. I didn't realize how many days I was in parks with other stalkers!

Some pics to post... family pic at Avery's graduation.

Maybe they can get it fixed this time. I love Hondas...I drive an Odyssey now but over the years we have had 3 Accords & a CRV. Right now I am babysitting my sister's 94 2-door Accord...it is fun to drive!

I knew I had missed you late at night!! I love the pictures that you posted!!

I love Honda's and we have CRV but right now it's just annoying for me cause I can't do anything tomorrow.

I'm planning to buy a car (used, but new to me!) this fall. I am thinking about a Mitsubishi Montero or a Honda Pilot. Every so often I consider the Odyssey or a Chrysler Town and Country... guess I'll have to see which way the wind is blowing when the time comes! The only reason I don't really consider a minivan is that I want something DH will drive some... and leave the Suburban at home. 25 miles to his work at 9 miles/gallon! :scared1: We traded my Yukon for it last fall, and he has driven it since. How did I end up with the kids, groceries, and a CAMARO??? (With 195K miles, no less!) Can't wait to get a family car again!

Hi Courtney! That was exciting to read you had ordered the new floors for your house! Have you been measuring and planning the decor?

Wow a Camaro with kids...i'll bet you're crowded in there sometimes! Some friends of ours have a Pilot and LOVE it...they took it to Disney in January with 3 kids and they said that they had plenty of room. I absolutely love my Odyssey!!

Kari! Love the new pics!!!!! Yall look so cute!

Hi Courtney...you must be home...I hope you had a safe trip!!
