Crazy K - we were up your way today. We went to the Alabama Jubilee hot air balloon show at Point Mallard. It was so pretty!! Have you ever been to this? We got there about 3 and went to the arts & crafts show. DH was disappointed that we didn't get there in time for him to see all of the antique cars but he did get to see a few that were still there. Then we went over and watched the 6pm Fun Flight. Then we left and went to Greenbriar and ate seafood. We are already planning to go back next year and stay overnight. We didn't realize there would be so much to see & do!!

Yes, it has been several years since our last time over there. It is pretty cool, but we got stuck in a ton of traffic getting in and out of there since there is only one way in and out, which made dh not thrilled about going back.

Hey DM, I have added Sci- Fi for lunch at 11:30 on the 26th just in case you wanted to add that to the list. Everyone must be having lots of plans for the holiday weekend. Not much posting going on.
Oh and I got Chris to try on Nick's Crocs, because I have been raving about Crocs and how he should get some. Well, guess what. He likes the way they feel, and has agreed to get some, so I went to Shoebuy.com this morning and ordered him the Chocolate Off Roads and Cretes(the mens flip flop sorta like the Capri). They still had the sale with 15% off and free shipping and no tax! Can't beat that!

Thanks for the help. I didn't realize there are 3 different types of flip flops. They didn't have my size in the celery ones, but I did get some ithicas in navy/chocolate.

I was trying to talk Rob into getting some Crocs but still a no-go. I even showed him the Crete and he said, "Now why would I want to walk around Disney in flip-flops? I've been there and don't want to do that!" Okay, whatever.

Chris doesn't think he will want to either, but I bought them anyway since they were on sale. I know once he tries them, he'll change his mind. The are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! I could do commercials for them, I LOVE THEM that much!

These are the two I got for him. He said he likes the looks of the Off Roads but kinda shrugged about the flip flops, but I still think he'll come around after trying them out. He thinks they will hurt between his toes because the flip flops he wore in 1975 did. These are so much better. I used to hate flip flops too, until I tried these and the Athens crocs. Now they are all I wear.

Rob tried on a pair of Crocs at Gander Mtn Sport and did not like them at all. At this point, his feet can bleed for all I care...just kidding! He does have Tevas that he likes.

We have gotten quiet, haven't we? Dh has some old tivas. I keep telling him he needs to tell me what shoes he wants to wear and he keeps shrugging his shoulders. I'm sure he'll wear tennis shoes all week.

I bought me and the kids some nice sandals from Lands' End. Of course, my kids are currently preferring to wear the cheapie sandals I got them for playing around the house. I'm bringing both sets. and a pair of tennies for both of them.

Is it June yet?

Yes, it has been several years since our last time over there. It is pretty cool, but we got stuck in a ton of traffic getting in and out of there since there is only one way in and out, which made dh not thrilled about going back.

Oh yes, we saw all of the traffic coming in as we were leaving. We didn't stay to see the night glow because we didn't want to get home too late plus we were hungry and DH had his heart set on Greenbriar. But the night glow must be something to see since there were so many people going in.

Paul is the same way about wearing any Crocs to WDW. He has the flip flops and the Caymans. He wore his Croc flip flops to the balloon festival yesterday and changed into his Merrills about 1/2 way thru. He doesn't like the bumps on the bottom. No me on the other hand wore my Mickey Crocs all day long!!

I love the pic of Rob & Brooke...I have several of those with my girls and Paul...they are such sweet pictures!

Ok I've always been a Teva girl so I'm new to Crocs. I like the style of the Athens more than the Capri. The Capri are $10 more. Do they have more support/comfort than the Athens?
