Hi There. I hope you guys don't mind that I've been stalking you. :) We have been awaiting confirmation for my DS' Make A Wish trip and it came tonight. We will be arriving June 24 and leaving on June 30th. I have been tentatively planning for weeks but am now trying to get a clearer picture. We don't know where we will be staying but will be traveling with my dh, ds 4(5) and dd 3. The only thing that I have been pretty set on schedule-wise is that I want to be at MK on June 25th first thing in the morning as this is ds' birthday and he is a Peter Pan freak so I am sure we will be riding the PP ride endlessly.

:welcome: to our happy little group.... when you have more info let us know about your trip:yay:

SingingMom- I'll have to try and catch that episode... I'm not even sure when the show comes on anymore... I'm sure in a few years when I have kids, I'll know each hour it runs!

Kari- I did post a recent picture Easter weekend when I was holding the crawfish.... But I'll have to take some more soon--- I just got my hair done and right now it's black... Right, black. Wasn't supposed to be, but I do see it gradually fading a bit. I wanted it chocolate brown. What I got was black... Argggggg.... So, next time I whip the camera out, I'll post a pic here.

Mandy- I'm going to watch that later today and pray for the family.

wendygrace--- please join in the stalking.... As you can see, it's very fun!

yearbook50--- Wow! Africa!!!! As in the real africa, or Animal Kindgom's Africa????? Just kidding--- Welcome!

Hi All!!!! I want to say thank you to those of you posting about DING!!! :cheer2: I was able to find incredible airfare for my family dh, dd(5), and dd(2) for the end of June last Sunday. We are going June 25-28:banana: . This is our first trip "Home". I am jumping out of my skin.

June 25- Arriving in the morning first afternoon/evening at MK.
June 26- Early morning at Epcot/ DTD, naps, and Hollywood and vine Fantasmic Pkg
June 27- Early morning MK, nap, maybe evening Epcot
June 28- Kansas Bound (we don't call it home, we are in the Military)

So, how is "Blue Brooke" this evening? Poor child looks like she has a bad case of varicose veins!!! :lmao:
We all had a good laugh at her later and she was very happy to show everyone her faded blue legs after her bath. I kept asking her if Mommy was mad and she said no. :goodvibes

DawnMaree knows exactly what I mean - because she said she was singing along as she read it before she actually realized I was talking about the same thing. lol :lmao:

Now that I've proven I'm certifiably a nut, I must turn in... :cloud9:
Join the rest of us for being a nut!!! I always loved singing that song - it was such a catchy one!!!

Haha sometimes I wish it was Animal Kingdom's Africa but no, seriously, real Africa. I've been in South Africa and Namibia since March 4th for a school project. Its hard being this cut off from the world since I have no phone. We have internet at work and the project is winding down so I'm finally able to get my Dis fixes.

How interesting. I hope you will be able to make some of our meets so we can drill you with questions! Just kidding about the drilling;) .

Yes I am.....

Depending on what you want, if you want Vista don't go with HP. I would choose Dell before HP. If you don't want Vista your only option is MAC as far as I know. All others have Vista on them. I'm in the process of looking at a new one too.

Sounds like a whole new thread... Stalkers stalking Stalkers! Congrats on getting your trip scheduled. I worked with Disney and Give Kids the World to schedule a trip for my sister's family, and it was so difficult. We had to have Drs email letters, and the family. Then they told us they had to have hard copy with signatures, so we overnighted them. In the end it all worked out, but it was really tough... especially since we were doing it as a surprise for my sister for Christmas, and only her DH and DD17 knew about it. They did get to grand marshall the parade in MK, which was really cool for them.

Thanks for the welcomes.

karibritt01, that's awesome what you did for your sis. The pictures are so cute!

Courtney: Do you color it yourself, or go to the salon? Because, I would march right back in there if they didn't get the color right. If you do it at home, well - maybe Ryan should be helping you! :hippie:

Kari: those pictures are wonderful. My sister and her family are still planning to come the week we are there - but I know she's a nervous wreck about leaving the youngest, who is the one with the irreversible brain damage. DH and I thought about a "Make a Wish" type thing, but realized bringing Nicole just wouldn't be the best for her. A very generous friend is giving them her timeshare, so they are only paying for air and park admission. It will be a good trip for the older two children. I just hope my sister and her husband can relax a bit - I know they will be thinking of Nicole the whole time. :guilty:

I know it will help her relax a bit to be there with the other kids, and with your family. I think it is important for her to concentrate on the rest of the family for a while, and create happy childhood memories.

My sis had always wanted to take her family to WDW, but there was always another baby (they have 6!) or time or money... and they never went. She was diagnosed with colon cancer last August, which had already metastisized and spread to her liver, spleen, and lungs. We wanted to give the kids a happy memory, especially the littles. They actually went over Halloween, because we wanted them to go before it was too cold, and while she was feeling well enough to enjoy herself. They had a great time. My mom is also in the picture... we didn't tell her we were sending her with them until a week before the trip, and my sis didn't know she was there until she knocked on their door at Pop! On a brighter side, she has been feeling really good the last month or so.

Wow Kari. That is wonderful having that trip for your sister and her family. It must be hard on your also, being your sister. I have never had to go through anything like that with anyone so I simply cannot even feel what it must be like. You, your sister, and your whole family are in my prayers. What a wonderful sister you are!!!

It's a half day of school today and the boys will be home in about 15 minutes. We are taking them to see "Meet the Robinsons" after we go to Johnny Rockets for lunch. This will be our first attempt at taking Brooke to the movie theater. Wish us luck, especially Rob as it will be he that takes her out if she's a pain in the royal ****. :flower3:

Have fun! A big tub of popcorn always works well for us. Let her sit as long as possible, then go grab some popcorn. Avery will sit there and snack quietly.

Singingmom- I get it done. I had so many years of highlights that it was pretty blonde. Back in Aug., I asked for her to make it my natural color. Well, it was pretty close, but it had a hint of red which I didn't want in it. So, a few months later, I said, okay brown is what I want. Didn't come out right. So they had to put a 6 wk. wash in it which, at the end of the six weeks, would make it all the same color again. That worked... for about 8 weeks. Then I said, okay, chocolate brown is what I want. Showed several pictures to her.... And what's it come out like? Black. It hasn't even been a week and she said it would fade and it wouldn't be black. But, it's still pretty black. That may be the last time I get her to color it b/c she's just not seeing my vision. She cuts it good, but no good with the color.

I echo DM. Man, Kari- that's so sweet of you, and I will definitely keep yall all in my prayers.:grouphug:

Have fun at the movies today. We take Faith to the movies(As long as its animated)and she is 2 1/2 also. She does pretty good sitting there for 75% of it. We make sure we have plenty of popcorn and candy for her.

Good luck at the movies DM. I finally was able to get my kids to sit through a movie this year and they are four and three but they're a bit hyper. Hopefully you'll have great luck!
