Leftover Hershey bar? I know not what that word "leftover" means either! [/QUOTE]

That so much sounds like my family, expecially with me and chocolate. I may have left over dinner in the fridge, but NEVER left over chocolate:rotfl:

Good morning. We'll it's still raining in New York. They cancelled school today so the kids are home with me for my birthday. No mani/pedi for me today:sad1:

No school today in New Jersey too - "State of Emergency" due to flooding. We are all fine - DH got to work with no trouble at all... but I was thrilled about the additional day off - pretty sad, considering we've been off since Good Friday! :goodvibes

OK- after about an hour of reading 20 pages to catch up from the weekend.........

1. You all talk WAY too much ;)

2. Happy birthday Mandy and JJ

3. Courtney- sorry to tell you, but chicken ceaser salad isn't really that good for you (unless you use fat free dressing, then it is decent)

4. Scilla and I dated for a year before we got engaged, and we have had almost 2 years of being engaged before we get married

5. I woke up with no power this morning. Came to work- no power again. Got sent home, power was on, but there was also water in the basement. finished cleaning that up, work called, power back on, please come in (35 minute drive each way)

Talk too much??? :confused3 TALK TOO MUCH????:lmao:

Well, I resemble that remark.....

PS: Love the photos! Celtics, huh? How far are you from Boston? We were in town Wed to Sat - had a WONDERFUL time!:cool1:

I am about 40 minutes south of Boston- and don't forget that was taken the month after they won their last championship

Ok, ya'll stay at home folks talk way to much during the day. I had like 4 pages to read since last night.

Crazy - I'm starting to fret about the AK meet about how much time in advance we'll have to meet. I keep thinking that FPs are really going to get in the way. I sure hope you're up for meeting at the MK in the evening the next night. I think our evenings may be better and are less rushed...:confused3

Yeah, I think you're right. We'll still be there for those who want to meet that day, but maybe we should just make it a quickie meet somewhere less congested so we can talk a minute and then move on, instead of trying to meet up for a crowded show.

Just got back from taking DD to the dr...her wrist is not broken!! I am so happy!! He is concerned since she cannot make a tight fist or grasp tightly. He said to keep it in the brace that she had the last time for 2-3 weeks and if it isn't better when we get back from DC on 5/4 call him and he will suggest a orthopaedic dr for us to see. I'm just glad that for now she doesn't have a cast!! Thank you all for your prayers!!

We took a "Duck Tour" and our tour guide was a Celtics fan... he was so funny - dressed all in Celtic finery, and lamenting on the team's demise! He let Dana drive the boat in the Charles River - quite funny.

The highlight of the trip was having my picture taken with Mrs. Mallard and her ducklings... remember, I am an elementary school librarian and one of my FAVORITE picture books is "Make Way for Ducklings"... I was like a kid on Christmas morning at Public Gardens Friday... alas, the swan boats were not ready for use. :sad1: Guess that means I must return! What a fabulous city! We had a ball! :)

I'll have to do some "brainstorming" but we still have some time....:)

Hi Singing - I am chaperoning a weekend fieldtrip in May to Boston/Cape Cod and we are going to do the Duck Tours. I love Boston too!! I have been to the park you're talking about...cool!!! :thumbsup2

Yes, it does!!

:yay: :yay: Glad to hear your DD is okay...

Thanks!!

Oh, I just peeled 14 LGMH and it is MUCH easier than cutting them!! DM & Courtney you were right!! DH stopped by our local HD tonight and there were none there...I got mine across town when I dropped DDs off with my mother to stay for a few days during Spring Break.

Something funny...today when I took DD to the dr she wore her lime green Tink shirt and the nurse took us to the lime green room THEN after X-rays we were put in the other lime green room!! When we were sitting there I realized that the 2 rooms we were in are painted Alien Green!! I don't think the Dr is a Diser though...it would be funny if he is!!

That's neat, Cathy! How old are the children you are chaperoning? I'm sure they will LOVE the Duck Tour. DD thought it was great! We had never been to the city of Boston - my brother got married outside of Boston (Middleton) six years ago, but we only did "wedding" things... this time we were tourists! Can't wait to go back - didn't see everything we wanted! Ran out of time. The weather wasn't the best - you will probably have lovely weather in May!

so what are you doing with them after you peel them off the backing? As you can see, I haven't gotten that far yet. LOL

Glad to hear DD's wrist isn't broken. Will keep her in our prayers that a visit to the ortho. isn't necessary. ;)

Ahh-- Where do I start??? I need to comment on 2.5 pages here... Okay, here goes...

Rags-- Yes, I want some of your leftover hersey bars. I love them!!!!

MaggieD-- Not sure if chocolate is on WW, but I'm sure you could cheat every now and then. I doubt the choc. wave cake is on the diet, but heck, you're on vacay, so why not????

medicgirl--- Thanks-- Maddie's quite the spoiled "child".... She has an outfit for every occasion!!!!

DM--- Come live in Baton Rouge--- I'll help you in your house hunt... While I'm finding mine, I'll find you one too...

All---- And leftover hersey bar means that yesterday when I was judging songfest they had judges treats... I had a mini bag of giordettos (have no idea how to spell that)... I ate them all.... I had a mini bag of cheetos .. I ate them all... And I started on the hersey bar but in my right mind, I could not let myself finish it... But I thought ahead and knew I would want it later, so I saved it in my purse and ate it today!!!! It was such a fun surprise when I realized it was in there!!!!

CrazyK---- WAHOO!!!!! That makes me so excited!!!! Ryan's fascianted by the tunnel system!!!! He's going to be so excited to talk w/ her!!!! How do you know her?

LizA--- Yay for the non-broken arm! I really did say a prayer for her last night before I went to bed... Glad my friend upstairs hears my prayers!

SingingM--- Love you and the duck!!

Mandy--- How in the heck did you get them that fast???? Did you really already get them????

LizA-- Peeling the LGMHs really do work... Glad it worked for you too! And so funny about the Drs. walls!!!! He knows how to pick a color!
