I'm guessing that I don't freecycle unless that means when I get my leather jacket and pants on and ride my Harley Davidson... Oh yeah, I don't do that either. :confused3 So what's freecycle?
:lmao:

No, no, thats not what I meant.
It is a Yahoo group. It goes by cities.Basically if you have stuff you just want to get rid of.. you post "Offer-old lamp"..then you will have people email you saying they want your lamp. Thats how you exchange things. The basic concept is to keep it out of the landfills...but we all know most people arent really concerned about that stuff ;) , they just want free stuff..

We have received a lot of stuff over the yrs. For example, we picked up a basketball net/stand thing..in good condition. The kids love it. We also have received a wooden playset for the back yard.I have picked up tons of clothes for the kids. Now granted some stuff is has stains on it, which I hate. When I post clothes, I post the exact condition of them. I dont want to lie about it just to get rid of it.
But.. we have gotten some clothes in great conditon. We even have received a few disney t's :)

So if you dont freecycle, and you are into that sort of thing..its all free:banana:

sunlvr- never heard of freecycle , but sounds intersting. I just pack the kids clothes up in a box and see if one of my many sister in laws can use them if not then the clothes and any toys the kids don't want or play with go to goodwill.

See Courtney... DM and I did NOT start the problems! I told you it was all Rags!;)
:lmao: I was just going to stick up for my dear friend Courtney when Rags so rudely told her she had to chat with us exactly whatever we were chatting about! Rude rude rude. :rotfl:

That is a good idea. Oh well. I just got rid of some clean good boys clothes. Some boxes went to a person at my mother's place of employment for her young son. She doesn't have a lot of money so I was more than happy to unload 3 boxes full for her. The rest were too small so we headed on over to the Rescue Mission.

Now, anyone interested in a Graco Duo-Glider stroller, complete with rain poncho specially fitted for it? It's cheap - $30 takes it away..... It's going in my June garage sale, along with 2 more strollers! Can't wait to get rid of them all!

So the weather has finally gotten up into the 60s and I have just gotten back from the grocery store. So, no better time than to sip on a nice cool malt beverage. This week's drink of choice is "Pink Dragon" by Seagram's. Has anyone had one of these? It's the first time I'm trying it and it is sooooo good. It's listed as "exotic tropical/citrus blend". Oh baby, filler up!

Hey, All I'm saying is that you can't expect to show up in the middle of a conversation, just say "Hi" and expect people to start talking to you. Now if she had added to the conversation that was going on, then she would have been interacting with us:thumbsup2

UH-OH! What did he do? Nosy, I know... but glad to hear other kids aren't perfect, too! Mine make me want to slit my wrists at least twice daily! :lmao: Today, for instance, Tucker hid under his bed and went back to sleep while I was getting Avery ready for school. Then, not to be outdone, Avery managed to get pink toothpaste ALL over the bathroom sink and mirror. :confused3

*SIGH* Guess we have to wait until she is done yelling, DM. She's such a tease!

Hi guys. I just had an idea for the question of the day. How did you come up with your Dis user name?
I got mine because my ds's nickname is Roo so I had to be Kanga but that was taken so I just added Crazy.

I'm not very creative! Actually, I use the same screen name everywhere, or else I forget what it is! LOL It's also my email!

Or have we done that one before, cuz all the sudden that's sounding really familiar?:confused3
It's sounding familiar because someone has a thread of the same question going! :lmao:

But, I'll bite....my family thinks I need some sort of therapy for all the Disney talks, collections, research, etc... Kind of like an "alcoholic" but Disneyolic. I didn't like it with an "h" and it's a good thing I didn't because I am pretty sure there is already a "Disneyholic" on these boards.

Welp, yes, I just said welp, it's not a typo. I say that alot but I don't usually type it. Anyhoo, it's shower night again for the kids. Them kids be dirty! We went to Meany's...I mean Friendly's tonight for dinner. Everyone but me had ice cream. Little do they know that I bought some Edy's Peanut Butter Cup ice cream for myself to have later while watching my shows. Speaking of shows....

My viewing pleasure tonight will be: Survivor, Grey's Anatomy, and October Road. That October Road show has some great soundtracks!

So, goodnight to all my fellow DISers. Love ya all!!!! I really do! I look forward every day to see what everyone is thinking, doing, etc. :grouphug: I'm such a geek. But a cool geek :cool2: .

Ok...just got home..Lets see what did my son do:sad2: He is 12 1/2yrs old and in the 7th grade.
I pulled some papers off the printer for myself, in my stack was some of my sons. What was , was directions to make this paper shooter. Like when you wad up a little piece of paper. It was this plastic thing with a rubber band etc...he also printed out this thing that shot out batteries(I didnt see the battery one, he did that earlier in the week). He gave all these directions to his friend on the bus. The friend brought them home and the friends mother found them. The mother brought them to school wondering where they came from, called the friend down to the office, friend said it was my son. With that, my son gets called down to the office, goes then and searches my sons locker. What is in my sons locker...legos...that he made to look like a gun with a rubber band on it or some thing:sad2:
So the principal calls me at 1:00, wants me to come in or my husband. I tell him my husband is working two jobs today, and I can come in, but not at that moment. I went on to explain my little one was napping, and my other daughter didnt get done with school until 2:30. I explained I dont have a babysitter so I had to wait and I could be there by 3pm, he said ok.
I called my husband at work and told him. My husband said that he would go to the school then, it wasnt a problem for him to leave work.
My son had to talk to the guidance counselor as well, apparently he was crying in there. He cries a lot.
Basically, he really got into no trouble(at school). Just had a stern talking too from the principal and the security guard and the guidance counselor.
Well at 4:10 when he comes home, I was waiting for him:scared1:
My punishment for him was 2 weeks of restrictions..no internet/computer(Unless he is required to type it). My husband disconnected the internet on his computer. He gets no tv either. He also gets no boyscouts for 2 weeks either, and he gets extra chores.. Ok, I secretly like the extra chores because less for me to do;)
I swear, its always something:sad2:

Oh we love Friendlys YUMMY :)...I always share my kids ice cream at the end. I make them equally scream, I eat from each of theirs;)
Tonight I will be watching Survivor and Greys Anatomy as well..Is Greys new tonight?

Sunlvr - I'm back because I had to read your explanation about your son. You know, it wasn't the smartest thing for him to do but I don't really think it was at all that bad. People are really freaking out in these times now, especially after the incident this past week.

My son has been know to create a gun with his Legos. No big deal. At least I don't think it is. But that is not the only thing he has created with them and he has created some beautiful and wonderful things.

Whoa! What a punishment you gave!!!! I probably would have done the internet restriction only but maybe I am an easier punisher. :confused3 Thank goodness I haven't had to worry about anything big yet....and hope I never do have to!
