Her teacher has taught little ones for at least 8 years now (oldest had her too) and I think she is just releived when she gets them all on stage without crying!!

I told her that one day maybe she could dance for you!!

Tell her to bring her dancing shoes and one morning at the bus-stop she can show me a little dance!

That's the key to recitals--- Just get them on stage, on the correct number.... Even if they cry, it can be cute, but you don't want them to cry b/c they are scared. You really just want them to have fun. They are precious!

Going to bed now--- Will chat with yall tomorrow!!!!
Goodnight!

Goodnight!! I'm not far from going to bed myself!

Well you would really really love Ryan then.... He does all the floors (vaccum, sweep, and mop), the toilets (I don't touch them- ewww), and the bathtub. He cooks, and loads the dishwasher after if I'm not here (I help when I'm home- since I teach dancing two nights a week, he does it before I get home). He does the laundry when I'm not here, and he irons better than I do.... Did I find the package deal or what??? And he's HOT!

WOW Courtney, you did get lucky..He is the total package:love:
My husband helps out a lot, though not as much as he use too. He works two jobs, so I can stay home with the kids. Well really my youngest who is 2 1/2.

So, I am thinking there must be other Disers in my area. We went to Home Depot last night. We actually went for a legit reason, not just for LGMH's:laughing: (we had to buy a new door front door handle)
There were no LGMH's to be had. Even the next color similar was gone as well.HMMM...whats a girl to do.? I have some already, but not nearly as many as Courtney has;)
My son grabbed some more Lime green color squares for me. Hes good at tracing the Mickey heads and cutting them out for me. What a good boy:rolleyes1

I'm here just for a couple Here's a good question of the day for all you MOMMIES or someday MOMMIES...

Did you breastfeed your babies ... or will you?

With my first, I did not. Back then, I just didn't know a whole lot about it. I always thought you had to feed when ever and where ever you were at. I am so NOT one to just whip it out any old place:lmao: I am very reserved.
Then when I was pregnant with my 2nd, I went to this baby expo thing at a store. There was a lactation consultant there, and I talked to her. She said, breastfeeding was not all or nothing, it was up to me. I could pump if I wanted and feed at home. So when number two came along, I bought a Medela pump in style. I would do just that, I would breastfeed at home, and pump for when we went out. My 2nd one had no trouble going back and forth. I breastfed her for 14 months.
Then when I had my last, I did the same thing, breastfed at home, and used bottles in public. I breastfed my youngest for 18 months.
I do believe breastmilk is the best, BUT... I have no problem with formula either. All3 of my kids had formula as well. My son was all Formula, and he has no ill effects. Hes 12 1/2, healthy and a smart kid. He is in all gifted classes in middle school;)

Courtney,

These were last years pointe dances... it was her last year... the pink one was to a remix of the song Daydream Believer, the other one was a song from Cats!.. My favoriate though was ac ouple of years ago she did pointe to the theme song from Casper... it was incredible....

did you breastfeed your babies or going to.
Have to say that i did not. Couldn't with the Haleybug(DD), had a high blood pressure pregancy with her. And Just didn't with DS.

singing- glad that you are done with the payments. We paid in full , then took our tax refund and paid off the card.

Don't have a helpful Dh, but two helpful DKids. DD does the loading and unloading of the dishwasher and folds the laundry and DS takes out the trash and on trach day takes it to the road and brings it back. They both have to clean their own rooms and help keep the living and computer rooms clean.
They also help with the dusting and vacumming. And DD feeds the cats and DS feeds the Dog, while I get the fish and the feeding of them(the DKids).
They are at the perfect age to start helping around the house now.

Courtney- DH asked me what I wanted to eat for Mother's Day and I said Crawfish so he order 30lbs, his sister is coming down from MD and will be bringing crab down with her.
. can't wait.

Got the run just about time to take the kids to school.

That'd be so cute! I love little girls in their princess dresses- they are so sweet! B/c you know in their minds, they truly are princesses!

He really is.... If I stayed home, I'd be doing a lot more. And of course, we don't have kids yet to take care of. But, see, I'm the one who works three jobs, so even though he leaves for work at 5:30am, he gets home at 5:30pm (and that's after he's gone to the gym already)..... So, unless it's a Tuesday or a Thursday, he's home before me anyway.

PS- I had the same problem finding my LGMHs at first too.... Keep checking- I would go every saturday morning and I finally just started collecting a few at a time!

OHHH--- I LOVE this costume!!!!! So cool! She's so cute! I'm so glad she likes to dance--- I'm so happy that's something I started early on... B/c look now, I actually make money doing it--- It's a blast!

Why are you dropping your CG and Fantasmic ADRs? I would choose Fantasmic (that is, if we were going, on Wednesday as MGM has EMH PM hours there that night. That means you have your choice of 2 shows!

We may make Fantasmic, we may not....it all depends on the kids and how much they want to stand and wait in line for it. When I say "kids" that includes Rob.

I only made the CR ressie to watch wishes from the deck, but everytime I look at the menu, it just doesn't appeal to me (plus that would take presious time out of being in the park) :rotfl:

I plan on going to MGM on either Mon or Wed now so I can go to the second show. I never really wanted to eat at Mama Melrose, I want to eat at Sci-FI as I have never been :)

Before I even saw my name in that one, I knew who it was directed to :rolleyes1

And how dare you say the U word around here????

In Wynn's defense... I do work from home, so I have time to do stuff during the day. He leaves the house at 8 AM, and gets home at 8 PM. I try to have supper ready by the time he gets home, and then I clean up while he spends time with the kids. He is great with the kids... much more patient than me. He also does a lot around the house on the weekends. I do NOTHING in the yard... that is all him. And I have an unending list of things for him to do around here!

I have a similar agreement with Scilla. we go by "condo" rules. Anthing inside including the inside of walls will be her responsibility, anything outside I'll take care of :cool2:

I'm here just for a couple of minutes. I have a bad headache tonight so the computer really won't help.

Courtney - wow. Ryan is a real keeper. Maybe he'll learn to breastfeed too when you have your babies....:rotfl2:

Here's a good question of the day for all you MOMMIES or someday MOMMIES...

Did you breastfeed your babies ... or will you?

I did all 3. I didn't think I would initially but when Evan was born 9 weeks early and he didn't tolerate the tube feeds, my "mommy" instinct kicked in and started pumping away. I don't judge anyone who chooses whatever they choose. I just loved doing it after that and it really saved a lot of money!! I only did it for about 4 - 5 months each though.

Rags - you can officially be excluded from this question. Unless you want to answer it...:lmao:

Well Scilla said she wants to breastfeed, so that means I can elbow her at 3am to go feed the baby:banana:

I know who I want to go home but I'll be he stays at least another week.
I can't believe that Blake is in the bottom 3!! I know DM hopes he doesn't get sent home!
Woohoo...doin' the happy dance  now that Sanjaya is GONE! I literally threw my arms up in the air and shouted, "YES!" When Ryan announced he was leaving. Rob heard me downstairs (I was in the bedroom) and laughed at me. He knew exactly why I was shouting!

Oh, and I was surprised to see Blake in the bottom 3. I am positive he won't be next week as usually when that happens there a surge of voters the next week. At least I'm hoping...

Well Scilla said she wants to breastfeed, so that means I can elbow her at 3am to go feed the baby:banana:
Oh no elbowing...it is your job to get up when the baby cries, change the baby, then hand the baby over to Scilla. That is the way it worked in our home and I think it was a good compromise!

Courtney.. I just got back from picking up my DD after my scholarship meeting... she has been dancing since she was 3... most ballet, jazz and lyrical... had a couple years of pointe in there but broke her ankle twice so that doesn't help on those pointe shoes... I was able to see her lyrical solo tonight... it is amazing... she loves to dance....
Wendy - Where do you take your daughter? The only place I have called so far is Tawn Marie's... I want to get Brooke started in dance. She will be turning 3 in July.

What's the point of both of us wakeing up? I think at least one of us should be able to sleep :rolleyes1

Okay...while she is on maternity leave you are allowed to sleep only when you have to work the next day. Still Rob won HUSBAND OF THE YEAR for getting up and doing "our little routine" when it came to me breastfeeding in the night. I'll have to have a little chat with Scilla  .

I highly recommend the Sci-Fi Dine In at lunch time. There's nothing like being outside in teh bright sunlight and going into a dark drive in! That is when we always go and we just get the burgers. We love this place just for the atmosphere alone!

They do whatever the heck they want to in the recital..... But that's what makes them so cute!

I bet your DD is ADORABLE!!!! Sweet little thing!

That was Dana - she lasted only one year in ballet & tap. No rhythm. lol
The class would go left.... Dana would go right.... the class had their hands down.... Dana had her hands up.... She was by far the "comic relief" for the three year old's part of the recital. The crowd was roaring. :lmao:
And you know what? She didn't care in the least... and she's still like that! Marches to the beat of a different drummer, and proud of it. :cool1:
Very independent and her own person. She'll even say now, "wow, remember how BAD I was at tap and ballet?!" :goodvibes She moved on to figure skating at age 8 and it helped give her a "little" grace. lol

Now she is taking horseback riding lessons and I think she's FINALLY found her love! :hippie:

I just want a burger, and one of the milkshakes I have read so much about :drinking1

Boy Rags... taking on a lot there since the outside of a condo is handled by a grounds crew! Just do Scilla a favor - put your dirty clothes IN the hamper, instead of beside it, and change the toilet paper roll! I've been working on Wynn with those for 13 years! He has finally figured out the toilet paper, but the laundry still lays either in the floor by the bed, or in the bathroom floor. :sad2:
