I'm off to get the kids from school. After that they have baseball games. I am just glad it is warmer today. Right now it is 73!! I know. I was worried about sending my other 2 to the middle school today. They share the same fields and it was a lake between the two yesterday. I drove by a few hours ago. There is at least 10 trucks working there.

Okay i'm home from school, in a bad mood somewhat. Found out were under lockdown during classes apparently or so what I have heard. The president already has a plan in place if something should happen.

Spending time today tweaking itineraries. Everyone that I am travelling with is arriving and departing on different days. I am coordinating almost everything.

It's going to be a long night, I'm honestly to the point I'm scared to go to campus. I just found out UTC recieved a bomb threat and I know several people who go there. Everyone is fine and they are under lockdown but it's scary.

Well, its a really sad fact that people (particularly high school and college aged) tend to feed off of tragedies like VT. While I wouldn't put a lot of stock in a bomb threat, just be careful. If the campus is under lockdown, then classes will be canceled... jut stay home and DIS! If they are holding clases, just be aware of your surroundings, and be careful.

I have been, classes aren't cancelled. They are prepared on campus if something like this should happen. Quite a bit of my graduating class goes to UTC and though it was a threat it's scary for us to go through.

What a huge job for you. I can't imagine planning anyone else's schedule... I can't even lock down my own! DM will atest to that, as she has to keep changing the front page! I also can't imagine just showing up at Disney and being handed an itenerary... I would feel so cheated to have missed all the planning fun.

Okay, here's a question. Are most of you planning mid day breaks back at your resort?? I've only been in June once and that was in 1991. I usually go in Sept or Jan/Feb. I would like some advice as I'm trying to finish up itineraries for the 3 other families that I'm going with. I know it's really, really hot and my thinking is to rest during the hottest part of the day and then go back to the parks later in the afternoon.......

Yes, we do. I like to get there early(at 8 for emh) stay 2-3 hours, swim rest for a few and then go back in the evening and stay as late as our bodies will let us.

I checked out the website that Crazy Kanga gave to us with park entertainment schedules.

At Epcot there is a "Sounds Like Summer" concert series.

June 18-24...Stayin' Alive (Bee Gees)
June 25-July 1..."Slippery When Wet" (Bon Jovi)

There are others but those are the ones I jotted down when my family is there. Could be pretty cool to watch.
