I think its great to be able to share my Disney obsession with others as my DH only goes becasue I want to... he really only goes to golf and enjoy the food.... and because I converted my DD into a Disney nut... and he can't say no to his little girl.....hehehehe

sunlver--- I'm having the same issue with Maddie when we go back to Florida to go to the beach in July. My entire family is going (when we're in WDW, my parents are watching her). Since all of us will be a the beach, I don't know what I'm going to do. I have a friend that will watch her... if he's in town... and he doesn't yet know if he's going to be in town or not. I can't board her. She'll probably die. Literally, she wouldn't know what to do with herself- she's so human its scary. Even when she gets groomed, they don't put her in a kennel- they put her in one of the luxury suites, bed, tv, and all... And they don't charge me extra... They are so nice!

But, I'm in the same boat as you--- gotta think of something!

We just returned from Boston, and Mocha just returned from "the Inn"... sounds a little like the place Maddie is groomed. We have been bringing him since he was a puppy. When I finally relented to "PLEASE CAN I HAVE A PUPPY??? PLEASE??????" I said that he had to get used to being boarded, since I wasn't changing my entire life for a four legged furball. (guess who has become MOMMY'S BOY?! )

He probably gets more attention at "the Inn" than at home! He has three "business walks" a day, a personal "playtime" once a day, "Yappy Hour" at 5pm.. DH draws the line on the "bedtime story and tuck in" - complains that nobody does that for HIM, so the dog isn't getting it...

They have 24/7 attendants - and he always comes out as happy as a lark. We just picked him up an hour ago... freshly groomed and dancing around. One of the workers said, "oh my... what can we say about our buddy Mocha? He is ALWAYS a doll!" Cracks me up. Only thing, it IS pricey. But he's happy, clean, and safe. He's already booked for Memorial Day weekend, Disney, and Cape May in August. They fill up quickly!

Tucker asked for 2 years, but we were renting, and couldn't have a dog. Then we bought our house, and we wanted to wait until we could get a fence, so we said no. Then he came home from school one day, and said "I decided I'm just going to ask Santa for a dog!"

Too cute and extremely smart . We have had Jake for 12½ years now so, sad to say, he is definitely geriatric. Both Rob & I have said no more dogs after this as Jake really doesn't get the attention he really should.

Evan said one day, "When Jake is dead, can I get a goldfish?" I was shocked and had a little sit down with him to talk about how that wasn't nice. I guess I took it worse than he really meant it.

We are awaiting tadpoles in the mail for the kids "frog farm" from the Discovery Store. I think that will be fun to watch and learn.

Rough weather here today. We had a tornado warning for my area just a few minutes ago, and our house in in the path. We had the kids sitting in the bathroom, and we were watching and listening. The wind was nutty and it was hailing. Thankfully it all passed over! WHEW!! Tornados are one of the few things that totally flip me out! Be glad when these storms clear out.

We are having yucky weather here in Nashville. (I actually live in Murfreesboro.. ever heard of it?) Do the tornado warnings scare your kids? My kids get so upset. I hope the weather gets better for you real soon!!

My dad used to travel to Murfreesboro for business when I was little. I don't know why, as he was a state (NC) employee, but I can remember him going there a few times a year. My kids get worried, but only really upset when the storm is terrible. Today there was little thunder and lightening, and it came out of nowhere. The sun had even been out a bit. Last summer we had a storm blow our deck table over, and the playhouse blew down the yard and into the creek - several hundred feet. At the same time it blew a recycle bin up the street in front of the house. That was really freaky to see objects blowing in separate directions! They do get upset when it starts to hail, but mainly because I get upset. When the hail starts, the funnel clouds are just too close for comfort!

I just looked at your schedule and it looks like we will be at the same parks on quite a few days: We will be at the MK on the 24th, AK on the 25th, MGM on the 27th, and MK again on the 29th. Maybe we could meet up in the MK and do a ride together with the kids, what do you think?

Okay... I will make plans to go to the Nemo show at 11:30 on the 25th, and we can make plans to do a ride at MK one day too. We are not going to Epcot at all, so I can't meet anyone at Epcot, but I would really like to do a ride with the kids at MK. Thanks!!!

Yay! More Disers for our Nemo meet! According to my source there is an 11:30 Nemo show every day. I'll keep checking the site as we get closer to make sure it doesn't change. Same thing on the Off Kilter meet for those of you going to that one later that day at 5:30.
