I looked at the 1st page & some days do not say which park. I can tell you that you will be spending alot of time on the bus resort hopping. I've stayed at SSR and I can tell you it will definitely take an hour to get to the monorail resorts and more than that to get to WCC, MBB & HDD. I would take a taxi for those 3. When going to the MK resorts, take a bus to MK & then the monorail to the resort. If the ferry is just pulling in for Poly & GF take that instead. It's much faster. Whatever you do, do not take a bus or walk to DTD then bus to the resort you want. The wait for the resort buses takes forever.

You do have a lot of late breakfasts scheduled. Are you planning on going to a park first?

Thanks for the advice about the buses, I was planning in going to DTD first but now I know its not the best thing to do!

We arnt planning on going to the parks before breakfast as we stay up quite til around 1am so will only be getting up at 8.30 to leave the room for 9.20 to get to breakfast by 10.30!

I am thinking of cancelling the Spirit of Aloha and the Back Yard Barbecue to free up some time and some TS credits! Have you seen HDD if so do you think this is the best out of the three?

Did you like SSR? We bought into DVC last year so its our first time at our home resort.
Thanks again for taking the time to help.

Some happy news to share...

Does anyone do the Disney Movie Rewards? I enter their contest every day. This is the 3rd different one they have done. The 1st time I won an author signed book Family Fun Homemade Holidays. The 2nd time I won the Pooh birthday light up interactive centerpiece.

Today I won some Kodak stickers! Wow...am I on a roll or what? :woohoo:

Well done DM!

JMHO but I would cancel them too. You know your going to go back so I would save it for next time. I've only done HDD before & we're going again this trip. I would say out of the 3, HDD gets the better reviews both for food & entertainment.

I love SSR. We are staying there again in April 2008. When we stayed 5/06 my only regret was booking all my ADR's at the monorail resorts because of the time involved traveling to get there. By the time dinner was over most of the parks were closing.

What area of SSR did you request? I stayed in Springs before & requested Grandstand for April.

Good morning Stalkers!! HAPPY SATURDAY! :goodvibes I think today Justin (DBF) and I will go see POTC-3 other than that I am not sure what is going on, the weather here in IL looks icky. :sad2:

DM I love the idea of having a thread started for when we return so we can rant and rave about our trips. You are just full of ideas, arent you?? ;)

And hello & welcome to disneydance!! :cheer2:

Just to let you know we will be coming your way tomorrow! :cheer2:

We leave to stay overnight in an airport hotel for the night in a few hours then Vegas here we come :cool1:

Our flight leaves 19 and a half hours from now. We change planes at Philidelphia then onto Vegas. The total journey time from leaving the UK to Las Vegas is 16 hours :scared1:

Wow that's a LONG trip. I barely made the 6 hour flight to CA:rolleyes1
Have a safe trip & we'll see you soon.

I had those exact some ithicas but they hurt between my toes so I gave them to my SIL. Something about the design of those was different for my foot. Oh well, now I am trying to convince Chris to get a pair of Crocs. I have 4 pair now and they are just about all I wear.
I love the Ithaca. But......I went ahead and ordered the Capri from Shoebuy just a few minutes ago. They are having a Memorial Day sale with 15% off and they had my size. So, if things get too "heated" with Rob, I'll just send them back..:confused3 But I'm not going to tell him I ordered them.

Didn't mean to confuse you I just wanted my 4,000 post on this thread:angel:

Time to play the Lottery
Yes, you confused me. That happens in the morning easily for me. Last week we won $7 and $10 on Mega Millions. Tonight's Lotto is up there and we will be playing!

I guess I should just start my show with all sorts of fun ideas. Yea, right!

Have a safe trip. Philadelphia airport is a piece of cake. I have a brother-in-law in Las Vegas so stop by and say hi to him for me! Where are you staying in Las Vegas?

We are staying at THE hotel at Mandalay Bay its the all suite one to the side of Mandalay Bay hotel. It looks really nice. We had to choose between here and the Bellagio where I have always wanted to stay but decided on THE Hotel because we are taking Olivia and Mandalay Bay has a beach for her! I thought The Bellagio might have been a little to 'adult' for her.

Oooh. Sounds nice. I've seen pictures and video of Mandalay Bay and would love to stay there. I agree about the Bellagio being a bit on the adult side. A different brother-in-law stayed at the Bellagio and he commented that he thought the rooms were no big deal for the price you pay.

I've been MIA for a couple days so I just have to say, DM, you're awesome! These daily schedule thingies are so great! It makes it so easy to see where everyone else is going to be.

Anyway, on the 29th we're moving over to the Beach Club, so we'll be spending the day on the 30th at Stormalong Bay, not the SSR pool. :)

Hope everyone's having a good weekend. So far I've been doing a whole lot of nothing. We've been playing Playstation games since we got up this morning! I'm about to go out of my mind, so I'm going to drag Antonia away from the TV and head to Target for a little unnecessary shopping! Actually, I could buy some sunblock and call it an official "Disney trip shopping trip"!

Good morning! I am so excited, today is the first day of my summer break! Now I can really get started with my packing and list making for the trip!:yay:
I can't believe how close we are now!
I ordered some new croc capri flip flops from shoebuy.com. They had the white/celery ones I have been wanting, but couldn't find forever. Also got some cool create your own Disney shirts from Disney Shopping online. Mine is lime green of course with Tinkerblell that says something about faith trust and pixie dust.

I just have a question.... Can you help me? I have been wanting the white/celery ones too, but the only white/celery ones I see on shoebuy.com are the itheca ones not capri.

oops!! Sorry. I guess those are Capri. I am just getting mixed up. The ones I have now are the Athens, but I thought they were Capri. So yes... those celery/white one are Capri. My mistake.

OMGosh!!!!!!!!!!!!! DM I just love what you did with the place!!!! :cool1: Now I can look at each day and see who will be where. How many hours did that take to organize. Seriously...you win the prize.....Thanks again! :cheer2:

Thank you Cathy! It took me about a zillion hours :lmao: . Actually, not that bad. I do like the individual schedules now. I'm glad I waited until now to do it as we have had a lot of people that posted their schedules and were never heard from again. So, did yours look good? Any additions?

Crazy K - we were up your way today. We went to the Alabama Jubilee hot air balloon show at Point Mallard. It was so pretty!! Have you ever been to this? We got there about 3 and went to the arts & crafts show. DH was disappointed that we didn't get there in time for him to see all of the antique cars but he did get to see a few that were still there. Then we went over and watched the 6pm Fun Flight. Then we left and went to Greenbriar and ate seafood. We are already planning to go back next year and stay overnight. We didn't realize there would be so much to see & do!!
