Hi Everyone! I'm Mrs. Fleagle.....please don't expect the same wit, wisdom, and comedic stylings as my husband as I post for the first time. I don't even know if I'm doing this correctly.?!
Anyway.... while Eric has been with our oldest three kids at birthday parties all day at an indoor water park, I've been checking in here to see how things are going. Our two year old is pretty sick today and I've been holding him constantly. I'm in no way happy he's sick, but boy was I looking for an excuse to not have to sport a bathing suit this time of year! Anyway, for a brief moment his fever is down, Thomas the Tank is in his hand (sorry.... I know Thomas isn't a Disney character), and he's asked for spaghetti (actually he calls it "spagette") so I gather he's feeling somewhat better.
I just thought I would take this opportunity to Thank you all for being very supportive and complimentary of Eric and sharing in his dream. There is so much more to his story...I wish you all knew....but suffice it to say that this experience, while not ending at all the way we hoped, has been a great outlet for him. The Fleagle you all have come to know is truly the Fleagle I married...and he really is as funny, witty, talented, smart, and solid a person as he has been here. I am so proud of him and the way he has handled this enormous disappointment. He's a better man than me. Ok, well, I'm a woman, but you get the point.
Thanks again to all of you for your more than kind words and thoughts on this forum as well as the private ones you've sent. In this particular case, it means so much more than you know.
Well, he just called and said the kids are having a lot of fun so he'll be gone a bit longer...but he'll return to all of you later tonight as we count down to the big announcement and have some fun along the way.
Thanks everyone....
Mrs. Fleagle
