Matt and Ramona were going to host I believe.....and they had done this contest a couple of years ago and it was successful (says Brad the promo guy).

Brad (promotions) could not have been nicer, but still, it was hard to hear. Kindof like losing without getting the chance to play.

The odds were better with this contest though 1/32!

I did ask Brad if he could just give us the trip --- no luck!

Hmmmm... any number of things could have happened? But usually when it gets to the point to where it is on the air, everything has been finalized. I hope no one was fired over it.

I was looking out the window just a few minutes ago and saw the Fed-Ex truck at my neighbors! I ran to the front door, opened it--just in time to see the truck pull in front of our house! I almost couldn't contain myself. The Fed-Ex guy brought the package to me, NO return address. I rip it open...an auto part.

Not even a fun game. Boo.

Kenny (who is apparently in cahoots with the sponsors), any way the sponsors favor DHL?

I certainly hope noone got fired too! It was a big deal but not THAT big a deal! Wow, I didn't even think of that! It was heavily promoted and he said something about alot of internal stuff too!

So Trippy, have you stayed in contact with the interviewer? Are you at liberty to share? If not, I really do understand! All will be cleared up tomorrow!

For those anxiously waiting, did the original paperwork come by Fed-ex? There could be a tricky way to find out if something is coming for you if you previously received a package from the Sponsors. Of course, you would have needed to save the original packaging, too.

You need to find the account number that they used to ship. You can then use the Track by Reference function at Fedex.com to see if anything is on its way to your zip code.

It's a long shot...

Around here, there are at least two different deliveries for UPS and Fed-ex. The morning is only for stuff that is overnight with (paid extra) morning delivery. Everything else comes before 8 pm.

Ok Kenny. A couple of things: 2008 is a leap year. That means that today is not the 1st of the month. Also, the next month after February is March and not April!

Ok, I'm back... I don't like to leave anyone hanging.

No. Not in contact with my interviewer, but I did tell them that I was going to drop by Casting when I arrive next weekend. Can't wait. I tell you the anticipation of this contest has really made the days fly by. We leave next Friday. We're stopping in Savannah Friday night to pick up my mom, and will get into Disney Saturday around lunch. Originally we weren't going to arrive until Sunday, but I booked an over night stay at an offsite hotel near Celebration because I was able to get next Saturday off . Not doing a park that day. I wanted to explore Celebration, then hit DTD, and Olivia's at OKW for dinner. We'll check into Boardwalk and hit Epcot and MK first thing Sunday... I guess I should head to the other thread and write a Pre-Trip report...

I really do have to get back to work.

I was thinking the same thing.....in fact, the day the calls came through for the Top 20....prior to my hope dwindling.....I was going to call Fed Ex, UPS, etc. and check for incoming deliveries!!!

My "game" package "mix up" "should have been from sponsor" episode made me want to eat crap!!! Well, not literally, but, you know.

Maybe they will email again! As, the official rules stated by email and overnight package for the Top 20. And you only received an email.

To be honest I don't really recall how they arrived. It's all a hazy blur. I think that the documents came by Airbourne Express for some reason. I seem to recall the red and black logo on the envelope. They did stick with the same delivery method the entire time.

I'm not convinced that there needs to be any further info sent to go from the magnificent 20 down to the wonderous 10. Regardless of what Kennythepirate might say.
