Okay - sorry - I just realized that my last post might have sounded a bit preachy. I really didn't mean it that way. I just want everyone to get along! (wow - I am the naive one of the bunch, huh?)

SO 16 of the top 20 are known, that's cool. I do wonder when we'll learn the other 4 or if we'll have some surprises on March 2nd.

Until then, we have our own awards to dish out and they give us the chance to celebrate the real essence of this contest - people coming together to share what they love.

It's a short category, but it would be good to give Donald and last year's dream job winners a chance to be honored for their fabulous work.

Not to defend somebody who doesn't like my video but I think Tee was just blowing off some frustration because his interpretation of what a Top 20 video would be was different than what came to pass.

I only responded to him to point out that Jack Frost did appear in a Walt Disney movie (he implied it was a Warner Brothers character... heresy!) and to mention what I was trying to illustrate by mentioning him in my video.

I invited Tee to join the DIScademy because he's seen lots of the videos and maybe he can help out. Given his frustrations, I figured he would like the chance to honor some of the videos that deserve some love.

EDIT: Regarding the Rumsfeld Doctrine... with everyone on edge... you can't imply that there are unknown knowns, unless you are prepared to turn the unknown knowns into known knowns for the rest of us. Whether or not your implication was that you know something that is unknown to the rest of us is... well, what we'd like to be made known!

Okay, so maybe I should tone down my earlier post a little. (It's just that "schmo" is such a fun word to say (and write). ...See? I just did it again! )

After all, everyone is entitled to his/her opinions -- even if they are totally wrong... There may be a bit of a bias on my part!

Tee did seem fairly polite -- even if we didn't necessarily appreciate the comments!

I am proud of you Haunted Mansion fan I think we all passed through the stages of grief already and are in the "acceptance stage". Although I maybe would have chosen a different top 20, I am not angry at anyone who made it. Trippy and Fleagle you both clearly have the personalities and marketing skills to make this a great race if you make it into the top 10. I checked out your blogs and they both have so many great reasons why you guys should be in there. Good Luck! But be prepared...people will be even tougher on the top 10
