Hey...if I get a warning about closing the thread you can count on another one immediately popping up!

and as for throwing up, my favorite in my younger days was:
technicolor yawn

YUCK!! Little man (DS2) just puked on the sun-room area rug. (I thought he was acting a little too subdued this morning... And, to think that I had recently congratulated myself that the rest of my family had escaped "the ick"! :sad2:)

Fortunately for me, DH was home at the time, so we "bonded" over the experience of picking vomit chunks out of our carpet. (Yay! Fun! ) Ick! I'm truly sorry for that lovely visual... :flower3:

Sooooo, Amanda, are you still excited about starting a family? (That mental image -- above -- could prove a very effective form of birth control... ;) ) Your boyfriend is (partly) right. Little kids do tend to slow down the pace. (For example, it probably wouldn't be as easy to jet off to Tokyo Disneyland to get your overseas "fix.") It's really not all bad, though. There's truly something special about experiencing Disney magic through the eyes of a child, who is seeing everything for the first time! Can't beat it! :thumbsup2

Hmmmm..... If things on this thread get a little slow -- and the wait for another announcement becomes too long -- we could always start a little word game. How about synonyms for the word "puke." (There are actually quite a few good ones, really). And, in honor of my recent experience, I'll get things started:

-Puke
-Ralph
-Hurl
-Blow Chunks
-"Bomit" (This mispronunciation came from my DD when she was a toddler.)

Oh, and I won't be a bit hurt if nobody chooses to play -- given the subject matter! :rotfl: It has the potential to become a very long list, though...

Wow -- so sorry to hear your little one is sick. Today we are finally starting to feel better and I only heard "mommy my nose is running" about 8 times!! Woo Hoo!!

As for the "game", I don't want to lose it so I better not play...I will discharge myself from joining...please don't let fly the names and call me a hack, but I do release and send forth anyone else who wants to empty or erupt their spew. ;)

Oh, I hadn't heard that one before -- I like that...sounds poetic!

Oh, I thought it was new! Maybe he's had it forever and I just noticed it...

It very likely is new. (I'd never really noticed.) It's just that -- when I read your comment -- I got really excited, thinking that he'd actually received a "tag" from the Tag Fairy. ... ...And all he got was a "lousy," self-inflicted "I Heart DIS" avatar. ;)

I wonder if -- when Justin checks back in -- he'll be amused by the amount of time we've devoted to discussing his avatar! At the very least, he can clear things up for us!

WOW, Marshay! I must say, I'm quite impressed with your little "repertoire." :thumbsup2

:rotfl: ... Poetic & Puke: Now there are two words you're not likely to hear again in the same sentence. I'm with you, though, I was quite impressed with luvsTink's contribution.

I'd never heard "technicolor yawn" either. (It's quite genteel sounding, really! ;) )

Yea!
Love having an Annual Pass:
Just received an email confirmation of our tour date/time of Disney's new Dream Suite!!! I wonder if we can take our camera!

Oh, how cool!!! You must take tons of photos to show us!!

Yeah, I've never been to Disneyland...the one chance I had, we decided to go to Six Flags instead for all their thrill rides (and we had free tickets).

I'd love to join you but I'm waiting until the DVC opens up at Disneyland and then will go in style!

Hmmmm, it was awfully quiet today for our CMO's...wonder, wonder...

I'm thinking the same thing, Marshay. (Plus, I thought I noticed earlier that fleagle's "green dot" was lit, yet he never formally checked in. That seems very unlike him. :confused3 )

... Of course, maybe he has a vomit "phobia." I've actually seen threads on the DISboards devoted to the topic. I can't remember the formal name of the phobia, but some folks are afraid to go places where they might encounter puking. (Come to think of it, who wouldn't be? ;) )

Okay, that was certainly OT. Getting back to the, point: I'm wondering if you're on to something, Marshay. It's certainly interesting to consider. (Of course, it's probably also the way that vicious rumors get started... :rolleyes1 )

The animator guy, Andy, wrote on Ricky's board this afternoon........but only that he was nervous about the potential call.

I thought he hung out here too though.

Maybe due to all the activity do you think they may actually call all 20 and let some of them down more gently???

If they are reading here --- I was a headhunter --- I knew how important it was for the people I was hiring to know --- I just hope they do that for the top 20.

My thoughts are with you all, even if you have to resort to lurking right now and keep any calls quiet.

I can imagine that this is really hard to wait through. Again, sicky that I am, "I" am waiting for "MY" call too!!! I know, I know, that phone is not going to be ringing from Centra Marketing......still dreaming though.

Hey guys, nothing new to report today. I've gotten more "not me" responses to my inquiries, but no news.

Kenny, I was thinking about your "I am not buying it" line.

So, do you think some of the contestants might be in touch with Centra and DD regarding this part of the process?

One of the girls (and I do mean girls as no girls over a certain age seemed to be selected) said that they were in contact with them??

What do you think? Just curious....it would seem unfair for some to be in touch and not others (again with the LOST reference for me).

Hey, Kenny:

Did anyone formally check in with the fairy godmother, Amy Kate Connelly? I knew that I liked her video, but I had no idea that she was a professional actress until I saw your post last night. I googled her name, and -- sure enough -- she made regular appearances on Star Trek.

Aaahh man!! One more thing I didn't win apparently.

Although I did get two dream pin and lanyard sets in the mail yesterday so that was good!:)

OK, don't forget Lunar Eclipse tonight, for those of you who care to see it.

I'm off to our weekly class for married folks -- it's called "Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage" ... sort of a Mars/Venus or 'Defending the Caveman' type of thing if you are familiar with those...but this one is sponsored by our church.

What have I learned so far about Men?
1. Men have a "nothing box". We need to accept and tolerate our husbands in this and give them some alone time in their box.

2. Sometimes we have to ask our spouse more than once for something -- esp. if the first 1 or 2 or 5 times you asked, he was in the nothing box!

Of course, these are generalizations, but my DH was practically jumping up and down shouting Yes! Yes! -- that's why I just need to sit in front of the tv or computer and veg -- it's my nothing box!:rotfl:

Very quiet indeed…..

Maybe our known 13 are busy brushing up on a little light reading to pass the time….a few examples:

Cut-out guy - “How To Sell On Ebay”

Justin - “Creative Costumes Made From Things Around The House”

Eric Kidwell - Top 10 Crowd Pleaser And Sure-Fire Sayings” (A-HA! That is why you were collecting our jokes!!!!) busted Flea!

Andy
- “Shortcuts Through The Magic Kingdom And Other DW Parks” You never know...they may send them on a treasure hunt!

Well, if I am going to take up a book…..it would be “Video Editing and Graphics for Dummies”…..:confused3

Good Luck to all of the finalists...!!!
