Dearest Fleagle,
Definitely DO NOT give up. You are one of the wittiest people I've met/read! I am sure your comic genius came through in your phone interview.
You are truly hillarious!

She's right, you know! :thumbsup2

In other words....DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER...? :upsidedow Ok.

What is DisneyFalcon? Did I miss the explanation somewhere hidden in the 100 plus pages of this thread?

No. We are Disney lovers and Dh is an Air Force Academy graduate whose mascot is the falcon. He's also active duty Air Force.

So we combined!

Very Cool!!! great mascot!! and of course, lover of Pumba!!!

I was going to pick a picture of Wendy (Peter Pan) --of which I collect--for my Avatar, but was too tempted by the Magic Mirror...this image was the one that I based my face-painting in the CMO video.

Sidenote...did you know that there are only 3 known pins of Wendy all by herself...I started collecting Wendy pins in 2005, and finished in a week! :rotfl: Tink sure gets more attention...but I'm not bitter...:stir:

Wendy

I am so grateful for this sweet community!
Kenny, the folks in your life are lucky to have your warmth, strength and kindness. My thoughts are with you and those enduring such a difficult time.
A story I love has a line that always comforts me when thinking of my own loved ones who have passed on -
"In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing when you look at the sky at night." (From The Little Prince, by Antoine de Saint-Exupery)

Kenny - I am so sorry for your loss. I dealt with my own tragedy this week so I completely understand how you feel right now!

Flea - not the best, but I did send in a joke!

I did not know that! Interesting tidbit!

Carolwoodpr,

Thoughts and prayers with you as well.......you also provide so much for others!

Ann :)

Thanks Ann - it has been a rough week for us and I appreciate your thoughts and prayers. There are two little kids - aged 4 and 6 that really need your prayers.

Carolwoodpr joins the party with a good Disney joke:

Why does Cinderella look so good in a ball gown?

Because she cleans up well!

Just over 24 hours to get your entries in!

Meggin posted this on Ricky's forum while this one was down for maintenance:

Brady has been wonderful to all of the CMO contestants, and I'm glad that this site has gotten kudos!

Initially, I was really excited about the article, but before I submitted any info, I wanted to get clearance from some of the "official" contest folks to make sure that it was ok to participate. I just got word last night from one of the marketing reps, and she advised us not to participate in any press right now, because it seems to be in conflict with the official rules.

I just wanted to let everyone know because I don't want anyone to get into trouble. I also wanted to let everyone know (again) how wonderful I think you are. Best of luck to all!

MY REPLY: I don't buy it. It's not in the rules of the contest anywhere.

I sure hope that Disney/CB hasn't put the old kibosh on the 20! I was enjoying getting to know them.

I will say this. I won't vote for anyone that signs up for message boards after learn they made the 10 and the "Vote for me!" stage begins.

EDIT: I WAS UPSET WHEN I FELT THAT THE FINALISTS ARE PROBABLY BEING CENSURED FROM THE BOARDS. I WELCOME ANYONE TO JOIN ANY WEB COMMUNITY, BUT PLEASE BE THOUGHTFUL AND STAY AROUND AND BECOME OUR FRIENDS!!!
