Here's a question: Do you guys think that they are making decisions solely based on the video? Or do you think they are giving the written part of the application any sort of weight?
My husband and I were just talking about this the other day. (I've forced him to watch more video submissions than I care to admit...

Hi!

'Just thought I'd come out of "lurking" to comment. (Although I didn't enter the contest, I've been religiously following this thread and having a great time watching entries on the dreamcmo.com web site -- at the expense of other household projects.

I can't help myself. They're just
so much fun!)

Anyway, we both agreed that we don't envy the judges, who have a tough job ahead of them. We also figured that you really
have to consider the full package (video, essay, personality). While some of the videos are absolutely brilliant, I get the sense that -- in some cases -- the applicant might not be completely at ease in front of large groups of people. They also might not look the part of a Disney Dream CMO -- whatever said "look" may be!

So, high-end editing software and technical savvy alone does not make a Dream CMO -- although I"m sure it helps [make the video stand out]!
For what it's worth...
Best wishes to all who entered!
