Hello ladies!
Well I'm home from my vacation and HORRIBLY depressed. It was unbelievably the most amazing time, and actually I think beat the NKOTB cruise last year. WAY less craziness so more time for fun. I know it's not New Kids related, so y'all might not be as interested, but figured I'd give ya a quick rundown in case you wanted any details. I was HOPING to have my pics loaded online to go along with this, but I just haven't had the chance yet, so I'll be posting a link later. The pics really make the story better.
Just to give a quick rundown of all the acts onboard, we had:
3 Doors Down
Lifehouse
Shinedown
Angel Taylor
Black Stone Cherry
Carolina Liar
Finger Eleven
Green River Ordinance
Nic Cowan
Parachute
SAFETYSUIT
Secondhand Serenade
7DayBinge
Trailer Park Ninjas

We got up around 5am and headed to the airport. Had a great flight down. Once we got our luggage and got to the hotel we headed to the restaurant for lunch and cocktails. Then we headed back up to the room to organize our luggage, rest, and get ready for the Lifehouse concert that night. The venue wasn't that great, but it was fun to see the two opening acts perform because they would also be joining us on the cruise, and I wasn't familiar with them. They were Angel Taylor and Green River Ordinance. Both really great. Then Lifehouse came on and just killed it. They were really really great. It was standing room only, and we were about second row from the stage, and cutie pie lead singer Jason asked if anyone was going on the cruise, so of course I went nuts. He noticed me, pointed, and asked, "You? You're going on the cruise with us?" Swoon!

Relaxing day. Headed to the hotel beach, then met up with some friends who live in Tampa for dinner at Ruth's Chris

Port day! Our friends were kind enough to drive us to the port. No problems checking in and getting on board. Once we got on, we hung out on the Lido deck waiting for our room to be ready. Lo and behold, who comes strolling up, Jason the lead for Lifehouse and Ricky the drummer. Managed to get my first band pic of the cruise with Jason, but Ricky had already disappeared. We got down to our rooms soon after and realized a bunch of the artists were staying on our floor, including the two we saw the previous night, Angel Taylor and Green River Ordinance. GRO was actually right next door, so I started blasting their music and they all came barreling over. So I got a couple pics in our cabin of them. Then we went back on deck for Sail Away, ran into Ricky from Lifehouse again and got a pic. Saw Carolina Liar kick off the cruise, then got ready for the Three Doors Down show for the night. Before the show we ran into 3/4 of Carolina Liar and got pics. Then the show. Three Doors Down was AWESOME. They put on a great show. We stayed up a while after the show, but we were so exhausted we didn't make it super late night.

Pool day! We hung out on the Lido deck sunning ourselves and listening to the bands play music. We ran into Ricky from Lifehouse again at the pool bar and this time I managed to chat with him for a half hour or so and get some more pics. That night was 80s night, but didn't really have crazy outfits. Once we were ready we went to catch GRO in one of the lounges. Lo and behold Jason and Bryce from Lifehouse walk in. I stopped to say hi to them and both of them look at me a minute and exclaimed, "Wait, I know YOU!" Bryce added, "You're the one who was tweeting on the ship to go here and there." I was sooooo embarrassed but slightly flattered that they knew me. We took some more pics with them and also with Ben when he showed up. After that we headed up to the Lido deck to get ready for Shinedown, when once again Lifehouse comes up behind us and all the members immediately stop to chat with us. SOOOO fun. Shinedown was great, then at some point between shows/lounges I ran into Lifehouse again, Angel Taylor, Nic Cowen, and some of the guys from Carolina Liar again. More pics.

Our day in Grand Cayman. We were prettttttty tired from being up so late but we managed to get up in time for Parasailing. It started to rain halfway through while we were up, and we were actually the only pair that were allowed to get up before the storm came in. Thoroughly soaked, we got back to the ship. We couldn't do much, so I headed to the gym, then the skies cleared and we headed up to the Lido deck for some sun. Lifehouse played an acoustic set in the atrium as we were leaving the Lido deck to get ready for the night, so we caught that as well. That night we caught some more performances. Lifehouse was playing host in the casino so we hung out with them some more, goofed around, and took more pics. We ran into some other musicians that night too, but it's all kind of tough to remember here without pics to jog my memory. We also caught Shinedown's main performance that night.

Last day.

Spent the whole day by the pool, from 7am to 5:30pm. Lots of bands played, and we just hung out with all the people and musicians, having a great time. We got ready for the final show of the cruise, Lifehouse was the feature performance, and our good friend we made from Sixthman, Kappy, snuck us in to front row for the show. Carolina Liar played first and were AMAZING. I'm a big fan of them now. Then Lifehouse had another amazing set. They have the best personalities. And then we just partied the night away until the wee hours of the morning when we had to get ready to leave the ship.
