Cruise 2010!!!!!!! May 14-17!!!!!!! Announced on nkotb.com!!!! What a great gift to myself to reward myself for a long year after hubby's deployment!!!!!!

My sister text me this morning and told me. I don't think I'm going to go. As much as I would love the possibility of meeting them on the ship, it's an insane amount of money for a 3 night cruise. I just can't afford it. I told my sister that and she never answered me.

If you go Heather, I'll live through you vicariously!

Hi ladies!

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I can't believe the touring is all over. It's crazy, because of those 5 guys, I've had the chance to get to know all of you, which never would have happened. This whole thing has been such a crazy ride. Who would have thought? While I'm sad they won't seemingly be out publicly as a group for the immediate future, I think twitter will keep us all connected, which makes this all more bearable.

I can't believe they already announced the next cruise! I would have thought they would have waited, let it all die down a bit and kind of use the announcement as a segue into the next phase. I gotta say, while it was annoying we got about 24 hours notice of the cruise to the ticket on sale time, it was almost better that way. Knowing that's definitely planned but we can't book anything yet is stressing me out, lol. I want it to be over with so I know whether I secured my spot on that boat or not.

I've of course been thinking about the cruise all night I think if I start subbing this year then it will be possible. I didn't sub one day last year so I'm going to need to put my name out there again. Oh, and I have to be "really nice" to my DH for the next 10 months.

I have decided that my husband should be thrilled that the cruise is my choice for a girls weekend. 2,000 woman and very few men... should be a dream come true for him! I am going to tell him it is the cruise or a girls weekend in Vegas... pretty sure he will LOVE the cruise idea!!!

I never did 5*, only went to concerts that were within a reasonable driving distance...I feel like I can justify the cruise. I just hope they don't increase the price anymore than it was last time.

Maybe we'll have an NKOTB-DIS meet on the boat!

It seems whenever I plan a trip, NKOTB have a cruise around the same time. Last time, it was our May trip to WDW and this time around, it's our 2010 trip to California!
Hmmm, can I start getting sponsorships on here for me to plan more vacations so you girls get more cruises?

Actually, my DBF and I were planning on Cruising in May 2010. I warned him it would be mostly screaming women but he just wants me to be happy. So he said to keep an eye out for tickets. I doubt I'll get the tickets in time since we just blew 3k plus on our disney vacation. But we shall see.

I would absolutely die! I just about passed out high fiving the guys at the London, ON concert!

I would so love to do the cruise with two if my BFFs, but I know none of us will have the money to do it. Plus my husband and I are trying to have a baby, I've been going through fertility treatments and I really can't plan on a trip for next May not knowing when/if I'll get pg.

We saw the new Harry Potter movie on Sunday, thought it was really good, even with the stuff left out, the stuff added in and some of the story feeling rushed. I keep hoping that maybe some of the key stuff we missed out in the movie might be added in to the next one, since they are doing that in 2 parts. I don't know how they'd work stuff in, but maybe they will.

WOW! Yesterday was a tough day for me!
Day two of Detox REHAB (ha ha)

I was at Dallas Show and Dallas Afterparty at the Ghostbar. I have posted pics on my FB account (posting this from BB so Cant add pics sorry)

Dallas show was amazing - I know some of you watched it. Kelly Clarkson was there, she said "Hey girl" to me as if she knew me it was funny.

We had so much fun. I was sad by the number of people that didnt bring books and the number of people around me that had NO CLUE! (not twitters )

They had no clue why "those kids" came on stage with the Guys (Hello those are their children) it was little things like that, that made me think I am really CRAZY or they are really out of the loop. I being in the loop. I love being a part of the SISTERHOOD of the Traveling NKOTB. (this is what one of my friends told me).

After Dallas show, we changed shirts and shoes (yes in the car- we were girl scouts we got this-ha ha) and headed to Ghostbar. You had to buy tickets in advance and they you got your name on "THE LIST" (which was super funny to us since we had never been on "the list" before. So we had bought 5 tickets but my sister and her friend were unable to get there in time so the 2 ladies in front of us that have came from out of state didnt have tickets so ME being the nice person I am we let them go in with us. Yes tickets were $35 each (so I just gave away $70-I was thinking if that was me I would pray someone would do the same for me). Ghostbar is on the 33rd floor of W Hotel in Downtown Dallas so you get an AMAZING VIEW and since all the NKOTB guys had been there the night before for Danny's Party. It wasnt nearly as crowded as I thought it was going to be.

Donnie, Joey, and Danny (all the dancers) were there. Donnie sang and Joey sang on a few songs- it was so much fun. Danny just jumped on the mic for about 20 seconds to say "hey thanks for coming" and Donnie of course did most of the talking. The best part about it was Donnie was "feeling" is drinks (which of course I thought was so cute) He was giggle at something he said or smirk- too cute. HA HA

So at 2:30ish we leave they had not been on the mic in a while and I was bar when Earl came over to get the guys their "last drink" so I knew they were going to be leaving soon. So we head to elevators to get down stairs and get car from Valet. So we are in Friends car and I am short dont know how to work the seat but I NEED to get out of Valet line because the BABY DADDY BUS is right in front of me and Donnie just walked on and it was pulling off - I just kept telling the Valet guy - I GOT IT, THERE IS THE BUS, I gotta GO. So I get 1 car behind the bus and we head toward Waffle House. Well BFF and friend had their share of Adult beverages so I made the decision to NOT stop at WAFFLE HOUSE. (which I am so glad I did since on Saturday Morning Donnie tweeted that his "bus was SPinning a little too much and Thanked Joey for holding down WH"- Told you he was feeling the drinks- LOVE IT)

So I got home around 4ish and charged everything and downloaded pictures, shower and it was time to meet up with Sister and her friends to go to HOUSTON!

So we are on our way to Houston, and we have Signs in window that say HONK if you <3 NKOTB and of course we get lots of honks.

Check in, go to the mall, get tweet Donnie is Working on Afterparty. 10 min later get next Tweet Afterparty is SET. Spent the hour we were shopping calling the CLUB to get info and dress code and prices for Afterparty. O WAIT this is going to be a FOAM party - everyone is bikinis and heels and getting dirty and wet- Wait a min. Call back- No NKOTB will be a VIP party upstairs the Foam party is Downstair - GOT IT! We can do this..... So we go back to hotel change for concert and head out door.

I only had lawn seats for Houston but so did not care I just NEEDED to be there. This was the most insane, bittersweet event I have ever been too. It was truly heartbreaking to see ALL of the "million sisters" just hugging each. There were a few "groups" that had put together ideas so WE (houston goers) Were to hold up battery tea light candles during "I'll be loving" and then Thank you signs at the end. So I helped pass out a small stack of Thank you signs when I got there to people around me and try to explain the plan. So... JABBAS come on and ladie behind me says "I love the blue man group" I seriously turned and asked if she was SERIOUS?

concert starts - I know how this is going to go - I just saw them the night before. Loving the show. Didnt get sad until Joey comes out for solo. Started to cry during Popscicle. Yes, Didnt even wait till 5 Bros. & Million Sisters. So my sister (21 and her Friends) are like WOW she was serious this was going to be emotional for her. So they kind of giggled at first but then When I'LL be loving you came on and you could see ALL the candles in the air from our lawn seats, my sister said "Wow you are not lying, yall are sisters" it was nothing but Tears for the next 15 minutes. Seemed like forever but it still wasnt long enough, for us to say "thank you" to them. They cried, we cried, they hugged we were all hugging- SO VERY BLESSED to have been apart of it all. Truly a moment I will never forget, being such a small part of this amazing friendship and journey. Just WOW!

So we leave to head to Afterparty - BTW is 45 mins from Concert VENUE. Well crossing the street to go to parking garage, one of the buses drive by. So of course everyone is trying to take pictures- This will be the last time we get to "bus stalk" one of the girls next to me says. Then starts to cry. I smiled and kept walking. Bittersweet. Drive to the club.

$10 later in Tolls and 45 min we get there. It was very clear which line we Blockheads needed to be in. The VIP upstairs with all the 30 year old Women. No the line with the 20 year old guys and chicks in their bikinis ha ha
The club totally took advantage of the NKOTB. They stuck us upstairs- on bartender at the bar that was off in the corner and the upstair probably should have been able to hold 150 people spread out but they have so much of the floor roped off we wer squished in this small space no one could more no one could see anything! I hope all that could HANG got their facetime. I know when we finally left at 3AM and all I had gotten to see was the side of Donnie's Face and Jason and Earl. NO Ethan, No Chris, NO Danny, NO Jon, Jordan,Joey, NO ROB! Just Donnie Ear and his hat that is all I was able to catch a peek of. So we headed back to hotel- After I came to the reality that I would NOT be getting FACETIME this time around. I am so glad I went just so I dont have any regrets but it was not worth the $25 each we paid to get in. The club was MAKING serious $$ off of us Blockheads. Not only that but With the club having its own party downstairs it wasnt like NKOTB or Donnie could have taken over the mic and talked to us or anything anyway- Just weird. And totally mishandled by the club. (just my thoughts).


Again sorry for being so LONG in these two posts! but it was alot of info. HAHA

Hey girls!! Just got back from camping all weekend!! I did get the cruise email and forwarded it to my friend as a joke. We won't be going but I knew some of you girls would be planning it!! LOL

I am a bit bummed today, my hubby isn't going to go to Disney World with us in Sept. He has major back issues and they are getting worse. We can't cancel because we'd lose all our DVC points for the year, plus MNSSHP tickets and our airfare! So, I'll either be going just myself and the kids or my mom will be coming with us. No matter what we'll have fun, but I'm sad my hubby won't be there to enjoy it with us.

Of course last time his back hurt and he didn't enjoy it all that much, the walking, the rides he couldn't go on, stuff like that. Maybe it's better??? I don't know.

Awesome, Angela! I feel you on some fans being totally clueless. Nobody seems to know what Tink is at the shows (at least not the people I'm sitting near) and when we bus stalked the girls next to us thought the band members were Jabbas. And why on earth would anyone mistake them for the Blue Man Group?

Shelby, sorry your hubby isn't going. If I see you in the parks, I'll be sure to sing NKOTB loud and proud to make you smile.

Thanks guys. I talked with him again just to sort of verify that he knows for sure that he won't be joining us, although I felt awkward bringing it up because I know he's not happy about it. But we did talk and he said he KNOWS he's not going to be feeling well enough to go. I told him I could look into switching it but if he's planning on having back surgery, we wouldn't know when to book it! We also don't know how it would effect our points, you know? So, he is not going...it'll be us and my mom. I have to say, even though my hubby won't be there I'm really excited to have this experience with my mom.

Good morning ladies. It's nearly 4am and I haven't been to bed yet. I woke up this morning (well, yesterday morning) with a sore throat on the left side of my throat. By 3pm I was so miserable I couldn't even stand it. I'm now dealing with swollen tonsils, swollen soft palate, sore throat, body aches and headache plus I'm warm, yet cold. Nice huh? Nothing has helped at all...I've taken advil, gargled with warm salt water, gargled vinegar & honey, drank hot tea with honey, drank ice cold water, chewed ice & sprayed chloraseptic with NO relief whatsoever. I can't sleep because every time I doze off, I'm jerked away by my throat feeling closed off. When I doze off, my body relaxes and my swollen palate is dropping down. I'm miserable and whining to myself because everyone else is happily sleepling. I'm calling the dr. first thing in the morning and BEGGING for an early appointment.

Awwww, Erin!! I'm so sorry you feel so horribly. I've had that before and it is NOT fun!!! I hope you get a very early appointment and feel better asap!!!

Today we just have a few errands to run and then tomorrow Becca and I are on the early train to Philly. We have our Jonas Brothers concert tomorrow night. I know she is very excited!! We'll spend the day at our hotel's pool lounging around.

Then in a couple of weeks Noah and I have the American Idol concert to go to, just the two of us. He's very excited because he doesn't usually have me all to himself. He's so cute!

We are hanging around the house today. Alex woke up at 5:50am with tummy problems. Plus it's cold and rainy outside. WTH is up with this weather? Our average high for July has been 70 degrees. SEVENTY! It's July!! In Indiana!
