DISer chapter of NKOTB anonymous, part deux... we don't want an intervention!!!

Here is my theory... I think our favorite 5 Boston boys will be back sooner than later. For one, none of them are getting any younger... I don't see them waiting until they are 50 to come back! From their tweets, they are all really sad about this break. I think they will be making new music over the winter and the 2010 cruise will kick the next stage of the adventure off. A girl can dream right?!! My concert friend that lives in Denver went stalking the night before the show there last week and had a long convo with Danny's dad who confirmed the 2010 cruise.

Little sad with the end of this tour just because we don't know what the future holds. NKOTB has become such a huge part of my life since the reunion, they have been a great distraction from the deployment. So have all of you! Thank you so much to my "million sisters"!!! So happy to have found all of you!

Ok, so my friend who has the 9 dvds of all the nkotb stuff got some software and was able to get the webstream concert from Dallas on DVD. She is going to be selling it for $15 (which will help cover the pricey software she had to buy, and anything extra will go to her Breast Cancer walk. Also, the same deal with the 9 dvds. Let me know if you're interested!

Heather - so glad you're finally back from your vacation with the in laws. I guess I definitely need to keep saving for the cruise since you friend got the green light from Danny's dad. It would be great if a bunch of us could actually meet on the cruise next year.

Me too! That's how I feel too. I don't want to say my life revolved around them for the past year but with 6 shows and endless tweets...it kind of did! I'm going to miss them when they aren't as public as they were for the past year. It was just so exciting when news broke of the reunion and we got to go along with them for the ride. I'm sad it's over now. But I know DDub won't leave us hanging for long!

Ethan tweeted about filming for the webcast and DVD, so I take that to mean there will be a DVD eventually, but I don't know for sure. Not much help, I guess!

OK, last night while NKOTB were on stage about 40 miles away, I was watching Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince with the family. I can say, it was a lot better than the last one. It was kinda slow at first, but I'm glad it picked up.
I kept trying all this weekend to get everyone to the concert, I really did. Every time weekend plans came up with our house guests (MIL, FIL and friend), I would say "Well, remember, Saturday night, we're all going to NKOTB."
It never worked. All I would get were looks of "You are crazy." I guess I should expect that with a group of 50-somethings.
We were even in Ikea Friday night and Lady Gaga came on. I said "Do you hear that? It's a sign ... she played the last NKOTB concert and I arrived at the end of her set."
Yeah, that's didn't work either.
At least we ordered our baby furniture and my in-laws picked up the bedding and a playpen. Can't complain about that!

A for effort Angey!!! I am sure it was hard not being there. Probably good you weren't , sounds like it was very emotional and pregancy and emotions... !!! Can't wait to see pictures of the bedding and furniture!!!

I saw Harry Potter while on vacation. The weather was so cold that two of us volunteered to take the older kids... 5 of them age 13-16... to the movie. Wow, the movie with 5 teenagers was an experience, but fun! I was even friended on facebook by the 14 year old boy, so I must be sort of cool!

I think the pirates look like Terrance and Phillip from South Park. hehe.

We got the bedding and mobile and will probably just get the curtains and a bit of wall art later. I don't want "theme vomit," so we have to make compromises. I did get a really cute wooden wall plaque that says "Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirate's Life for Me."

Here's the furniture, we went with the Chocolate Mist, much darker wood. Got the bed, dresser and hutch:

Love it! For my littlest, Capt. Jack, we did a pirates theme too. It was so much fun to decorate the crib that he never slept in

Heather I agree that is a great gift for you. I will see you there because I am definitely going. I was so happy to wake up to the twitter this morning. Just what I needed to get over my NKOTB sadness. Now at least I have something to look forward to.

I have a feeling that the guys are still going to keep us busy with stuff, so I'm not THAT sad, though I must admit there is a little empty space in my life with them "gone". I think they will still tweet and release special DVDs and news that will keep us excited.

Crystal, I sent you a message on Facebook with the contact info for the DVDs. And, yes, Karen I'm sure it's a copyright infringement.....but, I know we all want it! I would love to get my hands on all the 9 dvds she has packed with all the good stuff!
