I read a story on MSN about Patrick Swayze's declining health a couple of months ago and you know how stupid people always go on there and make comments about the story? There was one guy who commented, "why won't this guy just die already?"
I was like WTH is wrong this this person  the audacity of some people, you know?

That's exactly why I hate reading those comments. I don't understand how anyone could be cruel enough to write something like that. :sad2:

Gosh I love those 5 guys!:lovestruc I'm gonna be dying until May 18th. This not going on the cruise is killing me. And I wanna whine about it! :headache: Sorry!

Don't worry about the tears Erin!:rolleyes1 I was mad they didn't get to say bye. Call it What You Want ended and that was it!

We are just getting it here in the Midwest. Waiting for the 3rd song. They need to seriously get on with it... I need to get in the shower so that I can go on a field trip with Emma and Kaitlyn. Me, the teacher and 25 1st graders at a wide open park :scared1:

This is why I love Tivo. You fast forward through all the boring nonsense!

Yeah, we still live in the dark agaes and don't have a DVR. I keep meaning to call DirecTv to get one, but I think of it when I need it, like today!

Just saw the last song! Yay!!! Does the Today show really think that we care about their people doing the New Kids dance or the gazillion girls there taking pics? Why do they insist on showing that crap instead of the performance?

I was thinking the same thing! I want to see NKOTB singing, not a bunch of women!
I did laugh at Natalie Morales doing, what I think was, her version of the New Kids Dance.

Heather, how'd it go today with all those kiddies? Are you still sane?

I thought the guys looked DARN GOOD today, especially my man, Jordan K! :lovestruc He's got the moves, that's for sure.

I was helping out at my son's school this afternoon. They had a big party because they finished their standardized tests today. 125 4th graders. :scared1: It was fun.

Now tonight I'm headed out with my sister in law to hear a friend of hers that's a jazz singer. She's going to be over in Atlantic City. Our town's country fair is tomorrow along with a baseball game. Should be a fun weekend!!

What's everyone else got going on!??!

And in case I don't see you...to all the moms (and moms-to-be and moms to pets)...HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!:grouphug:

Tonight Wyatt has a baseball game, tomorrow Wyatt has a baseball game. Tomorrow my mom, stepdad, mommom and her husband get home from their cruise...FINALLY!!!

And yes, those guys looked FINE today!!! I like them all in the Donnie look. I'm even more excited for June 7th now.

I can't believe we're already on page 112 of this thread. :rotfl:

I can't wait to watch it when I get home from work! You girls have me psyched to see it.

I don't have much going on this weekend. My nephew turns 3 tomorrow but I have to work 7-3. I think they're going to the boardwalk so I'll probably see them at my mom's when they get back. It's also my SIL's birthday this upcoming week so I'll be giving her and my nephew there gifts on Saturday, hopefully. As for Sunday, I think my mom is having my aunts over for dinner. That should be fun.

Happy Mommy's Day everyone!

Can I join in?

I'm going on a date tonight, with my hubby! We're celebrating our anniversary this weekend :lovestruc Our plan is to go see Wolverine and go out to dinner. Saturday and Sunday I'll hit the gym for sure and spend time with my DD on Sunday for Mothers Day.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Anniversary!

I saw Wolverine last weekend. Not as good as the other X-Men movies but it was entertaining. And Hugh Jackman is gorgeous. :lovestruc

Yeah, we're still a little undecided about what we want to see but it's between Wolverine and Fast & Furious. Paul Walker

Paul Walker's a cutie but I heard Fast & Furious was awful. I want to see Earth and I also want to see Star Trek. I'm not a Trekkie at all but that movie looks really cool.

Totally Agree - they looked HOT in the "Donnie Look". I was so excited that Donnie's hair was done. but of course he quickly put the hat on. Just cant get enough of them.

My stupid Blackberry was not pulling up the links that the Today show was giving on Twitter- so it was making me mad while I was getting my hair done. But I did get to watch them live (well somewhat live - I am in Texas so I was an Hour before most of you).

Hope you all have a great weekend and to all the moms- Happy Mother's day.

I will be on Twitter..... until next Disboard check in. LOL

OK, I walk outside this morning and there's a little baby bird hopping around my yard. I think he's a blue jay. He has his regular feathers on his tail and wings, but still molting on his head and neck. I go towards him and all he can do is hop from me and fly about two feet at a time. He hops into the street and I walk up to him, shooing him back into the yard. He then flies a bit and basically lies on his side .... I can't see that as a good sign.
So, I am freaking out, don't want to be responsible if I could have done something and walk out to find a dead bird soon. At the advice of a friend who is a nature-lover, I put him in a clothes hamper outside and went to Petco for $12 bird formula and a $2 syringe. I couldn't find a nest, we have a big, dense oak in our front yard. I'm told if he can't really fly and I can't find the nest, he probably won't survive on his own. Great!
I come back from Petco, and the thing is lethargic. I get him out of the hamper and that little turd, I think he was faking me out because he jumps and starts hopping all over the place. I tried to hold him and give him the formula, but he just sits there with his mouth open. As soon as I let him go, he starts hopping around again and takes off, eating along the way.
He's under a bush in my front yard that I refuse to go in because the last thing I saw go in there was a snake about a month ago. No thank you. He's in there on the branches, staring at me.
I don't know what to do about this little sucker!

Awww, Angey!! How sweet of you to go through all of that. I hope the little faker is okay. :)

Just for the heck of it I just looked up to see what tickets were available for the show on 6/6. 8th row, center. I was shocked!
