Hi girls!!! :) Right now I'm in bed about to drift off to sleep. What a long day. It was a good one though. :)

When we arrived in St Lucia we were greeted at the airport by the General Manager of the resort we were going to. He's a GREAT guy, we met him in Jamaica last year. Anyway, he zipped us right on through the airport without having to wait in a line of about 150 people.

He arranged private transfers to the hotel. Normally you ride in a shuttle bus/van with a bunch of other people. We had a car just the 2 of us. Then when we got to the resort, he was waiting for us and we found out we had a butler suite. We have two butlers and they gave us a cell phone so we can reach them 24/7 if we need/want anything. :)

Our room has a living room and a large balcony with a TOTAL view of the water. It's amazing!!

We just put our order in a little while ago for breakfast tomorrow. We have 24 hour room service! (it's all included too) :cool2:

We are LOVING it!!!!

Just had to share. I'm off to bed because I've been up since 4:45am. Chat soon!!!

Hope you're all doing well!!

So jealous! I leave tomorrow for Minnesota. Not as exciting :( Have fun!!

Shelby, have an amazing time! I am so jealous of your vacation.

Shelby when you get back, you and I need to chat. Next year is mine and hubby's 10th anniversary. We have NEVER been on a trip just the two of us (sadly not even a honeymoon). We have always wanted to but never did. So I need some tips on Sandals as that is what we have been looking into, and it sounds like you know the inside scoop.

Hope you have a great trip!!! Sounds like it's off to a wonderful start.

What part of MN? I just moved from there in October. Love it up there, but hate the bitter cold!

Montgomery. We have a couple plants in Minnesota. I am a corporate trainer and this is my last training session for a little while.

Shelby - I'm glad you are having such a wonderful time :goodvibes I'm jealous, but happy for you. DH and I are talking about the possibility of trying an all inclusive, like Sandals (Sandals is so expensive though...is it really worth it?). We wouldn't even know which location to go to, so maybe you could make a suggestion.

Karen - forget about the cruise, let's get those front row tickets for Champaign!! That would be MUCH better than a cruise where we would hardly see them anyway. Buy the tickets!!!

Hey Melody, I sent you a msg on Facebook!!

We went to an all inclusive once. Dh gave it to me for Christmas and then we left about 14 days later. It was the Wyndham Rose Hall in Montego Bay Jamaica. It has since changed names. It was fun. I loved the excursions we did. That was the best part. But I have to say I just love being at sea. There are definite trade offs to both though. I have looked at Sandals so many times. Their prices scare the bejeezes out me! I'm terrified I'd pay that price and then not fall totally in love with it!!!

Crystal - yep, we'll chat. This is our 10th trip. 5 were at one place though. But we obviously LOVE Sandals and think they do a great job. :) We've been to two in Jamaica, one in the Bahamas and two in St Lucia. (The one in Turks and Caicos is for families) Anyway...we'll talk when I get back for sure!!!

Sandals can be expensive, but if you keep your eye out you can get GREAT deals. :thumbsup2 We have NEVER gone to one and not had a great time!

OMG! OMG! I JUST BOUGHT 2 FRONT ROW TICKETS for the Champaign concert!!!!!!!!

Melody we are SO THERE!!!!!

 :worship: :dance3: :woohoo: :cheer2: :yay: :woohoo:

I am shaking like a leaf right now!!!!!

OK, lots of potty-training, vacationing and ticket-buying going on while I was away. Fortunately (and unfortunately), I did not experience any of those this weekend.
HOWEVER, today at the day parades on St. Charles in New Orleans, not one, but TWO horses showed us they were NOT potty-trained. Dropped their presents right in front of us. EWWW! That then provided an hour of entertainment of watching marching bands go around the site of the crime.
Back to "normal" in Texas!

Angey, it sounds like lots of not potty-trained poopers this weekend. :) DS has been peeing like crazy on the potty (only went once in his diaper/pullup and we weren't home). When we are home he's in "big boy undies" but I won't subject others to the possibility of him ruining furniture/carpets so he's in a diaper when we go out. He still won't poop, but whatever, baby steps right. We give him a chocolate chip when he goes (I know many use M&M's but he has a peanut allergy and can't have these so Hershey's morsels work). So, that's my happy news.

My not so happy news is that when we were leaving today, my new NKOTB keychain from the opening night in Boston last September got stuck in the door and is gone for good. It was the rectangular photo keychain with the black and white photo in it. I really almost cried.

Now I know I have to get tix for the summer tour!

I can't believe I'm going to be in FRONT ROW at the concert!!! :cool1: :yay:  Karen, we are going to have SO MUCH fun!!!! Great job finding those tickets! :thumbsup2

girls that is so awesome! i am so flipping happy for ya, cant wait to see the pictures :cool1: the reallyclose pictures!

Well GOOD MORNING to us! :worship: thanks Heather! :worship:
