OK, lots of potty-training, vacationing and ticket-buying going on while I was away. Fortunately (and unfortunately), I did not experience any of those this weekend.
HOWEVER, today at the day parades on St. Charles in New Orleans, not one, but TWO horses showed us they were NOT potty-trained. Dropped their presents right in front of us. EWWW! That then provided an hour of entertainment of watching marching bands go around the site of the crime.
Back to "normal" in Texas!

hello ladies! Congrats on front row!!! I imagine the Toby Keith concert was incredible....! When I'm not listening to NKOTB, country is on the radio!

Toby Keith was awesome! He is a great entertainer. We had a really good time despite our crappy seats... straight out from the stage, up in the rafters, so high up that the lights above the stage were interfering with our view of the big screen behind the stage! But who cares for $14! We didn't even stand up until the last song because we were so afraid we would fall, it was sooooo steep! His encore was American Soldier and Red, White and Blue. I got all emotional during American Soldier and couldn't stop crying until after the show! Wow... did not think I would react that way, but was glad I had two of my best friends with me when it happened! Toby Keith is one of Brian's favorites, I wish he could have been here to go with me. I bought him a tshirt, but don't think it compares to him being there! Guess I will have to take a pic of me in just the tshirt and send it with the shirt

As we were walking through the skywalks to get to the arena we saw a poster for the NKOTB show in April!!! So excited we had to take pictures with it! All 3 of us that went last night are also going to NKOTB on 4/6. Then, when we picked up our tix at Will Call, I went ahead and got our tix for that show... yay 4th row! Also picked up a stack of the cards advertising the concert! THEN we all let out a little scream when the advertisemnt came on the screen for New Kids. I don't think the cowboys around us were impressed!

I used to listen to a lot of country music... around teh time that Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Toby Keith first became popular. I was underage and the only establishment that would let us in (and serve us ) was a country bar. I leanrned how to country line dance like no other! After I moved to Germany, I stopped listening... not a lot of country radio in Germany! There are a few people I still listen to, Toby Keith included!

As far as the beads at Mardi Gras, locals get them the old fashioned way. Most of them raise their hands up and scream "HEEEEYYYY!!!" until they feel like they are about to puke, but I have always felt like a fool doing that. Instead, I just stand there watching, and if they come to me, they do. Plus, it's hard to catch anything with a mandatory drink in hand.

BUT I did manage to score a few beads with my method. I got a few "welfare beads" from Jason and the family, meaning I did not have to work and other people gave me theirs. hehe.

Congrats - FRONT ROW I am so super jealous Right now.

Two things about the video (well Donnie of course)
First of all, WHO could not love that man - the way he looks into the camera at the very end- I totally melted. (it sucks that the song is so personal for him)

Secondly- I do believe he could have used a small trim on the hair before the video shoot. Even though the longer hair is kind of different. Of course, I will be over that the second time I watch the video. LOL

The company that I used only did ours because my friend is their buyer. They only deal with collegiate fan gear normally. Check out cafepress and see if you like anything there. You can design your own shirt or use one that someone else has designed. Can't wait to see the pictures of your finished product... sorry I can't be of more help!!!

I just watched the new video again. I will always be a Joe girl, but D$*% does Donnie look hot in that video! The way he says "you know I like it when" out of the corner of his mouth.... And I really like the longer hair on him, adds to that bad boy image!!! They all look really, really good in this video! Can't wait for spring concerts!!!

Hello Ladies!! Hubby had his surgery today. All went well. His surgery was at 8:30 this morning and by 3 this afternoon we were home. He is having horrible reactions to vicodin so they finally are letting him take something different. I now know why I never went into the nursing profession. I can only clean up stuff like that for people that I love. Poor thing he feels so awful. But hopefully he will start to feel better now.

They do wonderful work!!! Just post a new thread saying you have a non Disney request, or find Amy's thread. She does really good work. If you go that route, you can buy transfers at Wal Mart or Michaels. Amy sells them, but hers are more $$$ than the ones you can buy local and they work the same, imo. Hey girls!! I feel so out of it. There are certain web pages that the internet here does NOT like and this is one of them. I have had a great deal of difficulty getting on here. I feel out of the loop.

Crystal - I'm so glad it's all over for your hubby. So sorry he had a reaction to the one medication. That's a bummer. But it sounds like he's on the right track now!

Things here are going well...I can't believe it's Wednesday already. I'm not NEARLY ready to come home. I miss the kids but not all the daily crap. You know?

My hubby just left to go diving and I'm going to order some breakfast and read for awhile in the room. Then around 10ish I'll head to the pool. This place is absolutely beautiful. We just LOVE it!!! We are actually earning our free week this week (after 10 trips you get a free one) and we're planning to come back here in Nov for 10 days. Anyone want to join us????
