Oh my goodness all of these sick people. I hope you are all feeling better soon. Hugs to all of you:hug: My house is finally on the mend. Both John and Braelynn are feeling better. Two weeks and John will have his gallbladder surgery. Poor thing he is soooo nervous. I didn't even realize he is really kinda scared. Please pray for him that he will be able to control his nervousness.

On another note, I have sold my extra pair of NKOTB tickets and I just booked our hotel for the night of the concert. So I am getting very excited!!! Busy day at work today, just wanted to hop on and wish everyone a happy day and hope that you all start feeling better soon.

I bet that feels great!

Oh yeah. :lmao:

Went to the Dr and I do have a sinus infection. I just had an early dinner so I could take my first pill. I'm sure I'll be on the mend asap!!

Now here's my new worry....some people seem to think we could have a very big snow storm coming our way NEXT week just in time for my trip. I do NOT want a snow storm to get in the way of my flight on the 21st.

So, in other words it has my permission to snow up until the 19th, after that, no can do. Just wanted to be clear.

Crystal, seriously tell your hubby it's NOT a big deal at all. I have had 6 surgeries. 4 of which took place in the last 2.5 years! I am the most nervous person on the planet. If I can do it, he can do it!!! What is he most nervous about?

Well at least now you can start to feel better. I will think good thoughts that your snowstorm will move away from you.

I think he is just nervous of the unknown. He's never had a surgery or been put under anesthesia, so it just makes him nervous. I've never had a surgery either so I'm not much help.

I just got ~6~ 4th row tickets for Des Moines! Holy New Kids am I excited! I am shaking I am so excited! :woohoo:

Crystal, if your hubby has any questions, feel free to ask me. Here's my surgeries:

left wrist 2001
c-section 2003
right wrist 2006
cone biopsy 2006
hysterectomy 2006
lumpectomy 2008
colonoscopy 2008 (not surgery but I was knocked out)

I was knocked out for every one except the c-section. So, seriously...if your hubby has questions tell him to ask!! I'm telling you it's not a major thing. The morning of he'll go to the hospital or surgery center. You'll wait until they call him and then they'll take him back, have him get on a gown and then start an IV. He'll then hang out in a little room or an area sectioned off by a curtain until it's his turn for surgery. While waiting he'll more than likely meet up with the anesthesiologist and his surgeon.

They will quite possibly give him a little something in the IV to make him feel very relaxed right before they take him back. Once in the OR they'll get him situated and in no time he will drift off to sleep, wake up and it'll be over.

As far as them giving him something to relax, I've had them give it to me right before they wheel me into the OR. It starts working within seconds. Sometimes they do it once in the OR while they're getting things together. Either way, he will feel completely relaxed.

He can always mention to them that he is uneasy and request that they give him something a little sooner.

Tell him he'll do just fine and not to worry. Like I said before, I'm the biggest wimp when it comes to medical stuff. But it's not as bad as he thinks it will be.

Congrats, Heather!! What time should I meet you? ;)

(how can they do 4th row if the first 10-20 rows are for 4* and 5*??)

Awww Heather you shouldn't have. One for you and 5 for the first 5 people that commment to you right???? hehehe. I'm happy for you. You'll have a blast. How did you get 4th row if they first 10 rows are sold to ILAA?

I should have read Shelby's post first. We asked the same question. You know what they say about great minds!!!

Also thanks Shelby for your words about hubbys surgery. I know he'll be fine. I would be nervous too if it was me.

I am not sure how I got it, but I can tell you that Des Moines 5* must be selling slow. Our Iowa group on nkotb.com bought the whole left section of row 4 floor and right now they have row 7 center available. Now if they just offer an upgrade through ILAA, we are so set!!! I love to play the system, can you tell?!?!? I am way excited that I get to go with 2 college roomies, one of my best college buds and my best bud from Germany!!! It is going to be so fun!

If anyone wants to come to Iowa and get great seats, dahlstickets.com is the event center ticket site!!!

I don't know how they set it up but I've had my eye out for Nashville, Columbus and Champaign. I can find 1st row and back for all the shows. :confused3 Of course I can't afford those tickets but they are out there. Stubhub has the most ridiculous prices out there by far.

Congrats Heather. How exciting!

I'm totally down today. My cousin bailed on me for the Nashville show today. I'm so bummed. I couldn't even listen to the CD when I ran to the store. :sad2: Guess it's a good thing I didn't buy those tickets on ebay over the weekend.

The state of Louisiana gave me back my taxes today. It is my "play money." I wonder what Jason would say if I skipped my proclaimed plans of doing stuff with the house and booked a flight and 5* VIP to one of the concert one of you are attending.

Mwaaa haa haaa! (Evil laugh)

Oh, I'd totally disown her from here on out. Don't you have a friend that would go? You never know who might be a closet NKOTB fan. ;)

I say do it!!!

I think if I used the money on NKOTB tickets, I would have to come up with a bit more money ... for a marriage therapist or divorce lawyer! :rotfl:
Oh, but to dream ...

Hi girls! I've been MIA cause I've been sick. Stomach bug, what fun.

I just booked my hotel for Hershey. Got a fantastic rate! I'm so excited!!

The banana is back!

OK, I am having a BAD day today. All I have to say is "@#%#$ co-workers!!!"
Seriously, I am really thinking some people I work with have no respect for my time. No comprehension of how things work leads to ignorance, I believe.
What exactly does "deadline" mean these days anyway? I seem to have lost the newest translation that appears to be "aim for" not "due by."
I am hoping to talk to my boss today. Some of these people drive me freaking nuts!
Sorry to be completely :offtopic: but I am about to become the Hulk over here.

Karen - Awwww. Maybe you should get a flight and meet us in Baltimore!! :thumbsup2

Jenny - EWWWWWWW! Stomach bugs are NOT fun. Hope you're feeling better!!

Angey - sorry you're having a crappy day. :flower3: Cheer up!! It'll get better. I hope you get a chance to talk to your boss!!

Becca and I are just hanging out. Noah is going right from school to Cub Scouts and then is getting dropped off afterwards. I just made cupcakes for Noah's class for their party tomorrow. I just made yellow cake cupcakes with 3 chocolate chips inside and I tinted the frosting pale pink. I got these cute little sugary heart candies to put on top. YUMMY!!

I'm starting to feel better so the meds are definitely working. No gym for me again today though. I'll be back at it tomorrow.
