What were Donnie and Jordan thinking in these outfits?!!!! We loved it though!

remember when we would flip open the big bopper, bop and so on and see the picture for the first time and be like, "OMG look at them, how cute Jordan with no shirt (insert scream here) and Donnies hat & glasses (add another high pitched scream) and Joe and his.......well you get the idea!
and for me, my friend and I were always standing in the local drugstore while doing said things!

i'll bet the ladies that worked there thought, "oh not again with the screaming"

And then we would spend our allowances and buy all of the magazines available and proceed to plaster our walls with the BEAUTIFUL posters inside!

I bugged my mom so much at the grocery store for those magazines every week that she just broke down and got me subscriptions.

Teen Beat, Tiger Beat, Bop, Big Bopper ... and Bop and Big Bopper always had posters from the same shoots (I always felt kinda ripped off with that one)!

I would take the magazines a step further and cut out the small pics from the articles and post them on the wall too. Seeing actual paint on my walls was not an option!

Did anyone else ever pick up the magazines and feel the dread of "OMG, I hope NKOTB and Corey Haim (or insert your other fave here) are not sharing the same poster page!" Lucky for me, the guys I always thought were "gross" were on the back of all the pages with the hot guys.

Or how about reading those cheesy Q&As with "What are you looking for in a girl?" and read their responses and be like "Oh, that's me!"

ahhh the Q&A's remember if they drank coke, so did you, if they loved pizza well so did I, no matter what it was, they liked it so did we!

well ya know, ya had to for that big night out you were gonna have with them, you needed to know what to talk about!

HAAA! I'm telling you, I am laughing out loud at how oblivious tween girls are (and unfortunately, I was one). Like a 16- to 19-year-old would have looked twice at a 12-year-old! Oh, but we could dream ... yes, we could dream.

I am getting all excited and thanks for the Picture of the day!

I remember putting up all the posters and I do remember all the Q and A's.

Now here is the kicker. I even remember their birthdays! How insane is that!!!

Donnie's just passed I think it was Aug. 17th
Joe is Dec. 31

Danny and Jordan I thought were on the same day like May 12 or 15

Jon was Nov. 29

That is all totally from memory and I know its crazy.

I am going to see them on Monday since I am off from work. I will post pics for everyone!!

Yep August 17th for Donnie, I was in WDW sitting by space mountain waiting for my hubby and son and though 'hey today is Donnie's Birthday" yeah that is a little OCD about New Kids but hey, whatcha gonna do!

Did you guys all get the email about where they are going to be signing copies of the new CD and the reminder about the Today Show Monday, but *sigh* still nothing for Pittsburgh PA, I think I'm starting to get a complex!

More live pictures, gotta love those! Mickeyistheman we will be waiting, have fun!

Danalee, you might just have to take a little trip to the Twin Cities and do some shopping at the Mall of America and go to the show with me and my friends! I am surprised that they are not doing Pittsburgh.

My friends just convinced me to add the Cleveland show to our weekend - we are crazy! We live around the Indy area and are now going to drive to Cleveland on Friday for the concert and then drive all night to Chicago for the concert there on Saturday!!!! Both are 5* VIP tix

My hubby just found that out and actually didn't freak out but there are times that I still have freak out moments that I agreed to it!

But when I get to look at Donnie and say I'll be back for some more facetime tomorrow! I think that it'll be worth it!

The old school pics crack me up! But I still stare at them even with those clothes and hairstyles! ahhh, the good ole days!
