I accidentally posted this to the "Old Park Photos" thread and caused a bit of confusion. Anyway, I'm posting it here, where it was meant to be and isn't met with a :


OK, I have another "in" for a concert, if it ever happens ....
If within the next two years, starting in October, NKOTB go to NYC, I have my niece promising we will go while she is a student at AMDA. And even if it means divorce, I will have to splurge and get us VIP, if they keep that up.
Then my 18-year-old niece can laugh her bottom off at me through the whole thing. But she is just as bad as me, I can see her cutting up and carrying on. In fact, I KNOW she will cut up and carry on.
Last summer, she came to Houston and I was playing "Tonight" in the car and she loved it, even though my husband was making fun of me the entire time. In fact, she put it, and all of "Hanging Tough," on her IPod.
Good taste runs in the family.

I just got back from my Prom trip. So much fun but I am so tired today! I will post a picture later. I looked quite special!!! Wells Fargo Arena gave the event NKOTB tix to raffle and I won a pair! They are not better than the ones I already have, but excited anyway!!!

Yep, that's me in the middle. Can't quite figure out if I was going for Madonna in Desperately Seeking Susan or Elisabeth Shue in Adventures in Babysitting! They did play NKOTB, we had everyone Hangin Tough. Some random guy came and tried to dance with us during I'll Be Loving You Forever and he had never even heard of New Kids! Talk about feeling old!!!

LOVE it! You ladies looked great. So happy to hear NKOTB were played that night. I think if I was there I would have gotten really giddy the second I heard the opening bars of any NKOTB song...but I do that even now just listening to the radio.

In addition to setting DVRs for Jimmy Kimmel tonight, don't forget for anyone who missed the VH1 countdown, set DVRs for 9am tomorrow morning. It's a 2 hour countdown, and NKOTB only appears in the second hour

Trust me, you don't want big hair to make a comeback! I depleted the zone layer by myself with the amount of hairspray used!!! I couldn't even brush through it the next morning!

No way did we dance with loser boy who didn't know who NKOTB are. Idiot had to walk right by the table where they were selling raffle tix to the NKOTB concert to get in the place. Geesh, some people live under rocks!!!

The dress with the big bow in the front was originally a bridesmaids dress that all three of us wore in a friends wedding. It didn't have the bow then, Jill's mom took off some of the length and made the bow for the front. With or without the bow it was the UGLIEST bridesmaid dress ever!

I just got an email that they have released more rooms for the cruise, just in case anyone is interested. I will admit, I thought about it for a split second. We are planning a girls weekend for the same weekend as the cruise and it is tempting!

After watching a ton of cruise ships go by this past week in St Lucia, it solidified the fact that I have NO desire to go on one. I just can't do it, but for anyone that likes cruises, I'm sure it'll be fun.

The NKOTB cruise will be my 9th cruise, and other than Disney, it's my favorite vacation. My fave trips actually are a combo of a short Disney trip and then week long cruise. The best of both worlds! I am a little nervous about crazy women on this boat, though. I personally think it will be entertaining to watch the whackos acting like fools, but I just don't want them to ruin it for the rest of us. The money it's costing for 2 of us to go on this 3 night cruise is more than it usually costs for 4 people to do a week long cruise. Oh the things I do for the New Kids.

I felt really bad because one of them was in my department; we started on the same day so we were pretty close. It could've easily been me. It was sad to see them packing up their desks. My boss said this is only round 1 of the cuts...

I also LOVE cruising. I've been on 5 (two of them Disney) and we talk about doing other things, but never do because we love our cruises We want to try an all inclusive, but will have a hard time giving up a cruise to do that instead. I'm just afraid that we will get bored at an all inclusive. What I like about cruises is that you get to visit a new place each day and then get back on the ship for all kinds of activities and meals and fun, until the next day when you visit somewhere else. There's nothing like waking up in the morning and looking out your window to see you're somewhere new.

I can't wait to hear the NKOTB cruise report either! I'm glad we have an "insider" on board
