So my brother just emailed me to say he, his wife, and their 2 kids are in for the October trip! So now I am reconsidering the Halloween party. I guess we need to decide tomorrow, so we can get tickets.

Hey ladies--just a reminder that if you have an Annual Pass and you haven't bought your Trick or Treat Party tix yet that they go on sale to the general public tomorrow--so dates will probably start selling out.

And if you don't have an Annual Pass--be sure and go online tomorrow and buy them before they sell out for the 23rd!

I bought tickets for my family earlier this week so we are all set as well.

Now we need to begin the great costume debate. Dave isn't too into the dress up thing and I'm not crafty so we have to keep it simple. Last year was Lilo, Stitch and Cobra Bubbles. I made my costume, purchased Ty's off ebay and Dave's was basically just a black suit and sunglasses. IF Dave and I dress up this year we are leaning towards Pete, Minnie and Mickey. I figure that I will be able to find Minnie and Mickey costumes for me and Ty and that a Pete costume shouldn't be too hard to pull together for Dave. But, costumes are just starting to get rolled out some places and disneystore.com doesn't even have theirs up yet, so it's still too early to decide!

I have 2 rooms booked for the 23rd-25th at the Crowne Plaza. If my sister doesn't join us, I may have extra room if you don't mind sharing a room with either me or my DD. The rooms should be ajoining so we'll have plenty of space.

The Crowne Plaza has a shuttle to Disneyland so that is a plus. My family won't be going to the Halloween party, but we'll probably be out late at Disneyland so it shouldn't make a difference.

I should know by the end of August if my sister is coming for sure or not.

Of course, barring anything that would prevent either of them from going. You all know there's not much that would keep me from going, other than some dumb medical incident!

I just wanted to say I am so glad so many of us are for sure coming in Oct. It is really going to be a special trip and the Halloween costumes and all the children will make it extra special. The DCA party on the 23rd will be really fun. We had such a good time last year, I am really looking forward to it.

I decided to be Maleficent. I think it will be a comfy costume, and I'm never the 'bad one'. I always lean towards cutesy. I think it will be fun to try something different (for me!) for a change. Now I need to find some makeup that will not ruin my skin. Any tips on costume makeup anyone?
