:) I love the idea of the Plaza Inn. We're not on the list for the Barbeque because of dietary restrictions, but if the meal was switched to the Plaza, we would be able to go there as we could control the food situation better. So, if you decide to go there, count us in.

Oh, cool! I like Maleficent. She's so evil!

I am sad to hear that some of you can't make it. What a bummer, even though I was not going to get to see everyone anyhow since I am just a drive by visitor for a few days. I do look forward to seeing some of you though! Who might be in the area by Wed night and/or Thursday??

We'll be there on those days too. It will be myself and my 14 y.o. DS. If you want to meet up, let me know. We'll be at Hojo's.......Where are you staying?

Tracey - we're getting in on Thursday afternoon, so I think it would be great to see you then!!

P.S.--I'll help make PS's.

And one thought--where we haven't been--is dinner at Plaza Inn? And we can save tables outside and hang until the fireworks?
I'd like this.:goodvibes Especially since the only time I have been there was for the Birthday Party thing, and the cupcakes were not the greatest! :headache:
Fried chicken sounds pretty good right now! :thumbsup2

The thought of just sitting and chilling in a semi-comfy chair for a couple of hours chattin with the Divas while munching on fried chicken and whatever other treats we can think of is VERY appealing

I need to stop reading this thread, it makes me a little sad. Can you tell I'm jealous of you all? Maybe I'll win the lottery, then I can pay for Beth and me to go! :goodvibes

Good idea!! I'm up for that :)

I'd be up for making a PS somewhere - just kick me and let me know where ;) We also like the Plaza Inn for dinner, so it would be a thumbs up for us. Jesse is really looking forward to going to Goofy's for breakfast again!!

Allyson can't wait, she is so excited that there will be LOTS of kids there right around her age... she's kinda been asking me if any of the "boys" are cute... :rolleyes1 No idea where she gets it from!!

So start buying your lottery tickets!!

Another Washingtonian! Yeah! I will be happy to meet up with you and you too Theresa! I don't have a reservation yet, so don't know where I am going to stay. Really am looking for a roomy and may have some girlfriends coming down, but nothing settled now.

Anyhow, it will be fun and I am looking forward to seeing everyone that I can.

This sounds lovely to me too, but I won't be there on Saturday. I could do this on Thursday though. Will they have fireworks on Thursday?

Details, details! LOL--but you're right--the schedule isn't out yet but I'm hoping that if they're doing the special Halloween fireworks they'll have them on that Thursday

Cheryl, I love the idea of the Plaza. That's the place that has the different pot pies, right? I've been wanting to try it! Good idea! :thumbsup2

Anyone against changing the BBQ to the Plaza?

Is the Plaza Inn like the Carnation Cafe in that several of us will have to make PS? Anyone know?

I will do the PS for Goofy's, and I think Dawn will take care of the PS for her mother's birthday party. So, what about Theresa doing the PS for WCT, and Cheryl doing The Plaza Inn if she can do it all at once?

I'm excited! We're making plans!

Sounds good, but maybe Cheryl and I can change PS...... We are leaving on Sunday now, so I'm not going to be able to make it to WCT any more (so you guys will have to enjoy the Magicale without me). However, I am SOOOO going to make sure I buy at least one (or two) bottles to bring home with me :thumbsup2

So if it's okay with Cheryl, I can make the PS for Plaza Inn and she can make the PS for WCT..... let me know.

Heather - I don't think the Plaza Inn has pot pies. I know Carnation Cafe does, but I don't think I saw them at the Plaza Inn.....

Plaza Inn doesn't take PS for dinner. It is like a cafeteria, and you order at the counter, pick up what you want and go find a table. So my thought would be that there needs to be two or three of us at least who find some tables outside where we can see fireworks, save the tables and go in groups in to get food. I don't know about pot pies--do they have those? I've only had fried chicken!

Still, I'm willing to make the PS for WCT if someone tells me when and how many. (And if there's too many we might need someone else if they won't let me reserve a table that big.)

Theresa--we may have to sneak off to the GCH bar and get you a glass of Magicale before you leave!

I plan on enjoying a bottle of Magical on my birthday if Club 33 has it. (oh, I hope they do!)

I'll have to look into the Pot Pie thing because I've heard it's good, just can't remember where to get it. I heard that the flavor changes daily and the stroganoff one is very good.

I'm not sure if I'm going to WCT either, so Cheryl that will be great if you can do it. I don't think it's a huge group since many are leaving Sunday morning. I'm riding with Stacie, so she'll call the shots on whether I'll be there or not.

Cheryl, I think that is a most excellent idea!!! I would :lovestruc to sneak off for a glass of the good stuff!

Heather, I think you're thinking of Carnation Cafe. They do have pot pies there and they do have a daily flavor (and they are yummy!). I hope they do have Magicale at Club 33 (can I just mention I may be a tad jealous that you're going for your b-day....... Oh, and I'll also mention that it may be someone else's b-day on the Ladies Only Trip (at least three of us!) - say on March 2...... just sayin!!!) :rolleyes1

I'm sorry to see that some of you aren't going to make it in October, I was looking forward to meeting some of you before I join you for the Ladies trip in Feb. My family and I had a trip booked in October before I knew you were meeting up so we leave just as most of you are getting there. We'll be at Hojo's Oct.18-24

Would it be possible for my son and I to join you for the Happiest Haunts tour? Any ideas on price and if there's an age limit?

I have to ask what exactly Magicale is?

Angie

HI Disneyfan4ever! Nice to meet you! My name is Melody.:flower3:

Not to mention having a nice spot for the fireworks!! :cloud9:

I need to stop reading this thread, it makes me a little sad. Can you tell I'm jealous of you all? Maybe I'll win the lottery, then I can pay for Beth and me to go! :goodvibes

Kaitlyn will be almost 16. Are there any nice boys in that age range? :rotfl:

This sounds lovely to me too, but I won't be there on Saturday. I could do this on Thursday though. Will they have fireworks on Thursday?
Good question, but I don't think so. So are you leaving on Friday? If so, I will miss seeing you. :sad2:

Theresa--we may have to sneak off to the GCH bar and get you a glass of Magicale before you leave!
I'm in!! That was one of my favorite times of our last trip. Chilling in the lounge! It was lovely. :cloud9:
