Trailing heading into Monday Night. A late comeback is possible, but not probable. I need a HUGE game from Stafford, and I need him to have it with his rookie slot receiver Titus Young, instead of with his TE Pettigrew. And a good ol' fashioned shoot-out would be nice, with the Lions defense getting lit up its share too. Is that too much to ask?

I was also trailing heading into to Monday Night by almost 50 points to Jasmine's Necklace. A STRONG performance by Jahvid Best, Calvin Johnson and Matt Forte catepulted me to 25 point victory. Dropping Barry to the colum of one-loss teams fell soooo good. Feels like I took down the champ.

The sights have been set and the next team to get pillaged is the Motley Muppets...

I watching on Sunday night, hoping to build up as big a lead as I could, seeing that you had 3 players going on Monday. I check Monday morning, saw the 50 point lead and thought "this is going to be close". I watched Monday's game and cringed when Johnson caught that long TD. As soon as Best broke that 77-yarder, I didn't even need to check the scores. I shut it off and went to bed.

I may have lost, Tim, but at least I didn't lose to you.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I haven't checked but probably won 1 league. Oh, yeah, best taunt - I'm in WDW. I may be peanut butter in fantasy standings but I'm in WDW. And, I have Barry's GB QB and D.

Tim If you could explain why you felt the need to get your only win against me I would like to hear it!!!:confused3 here I thought we were somewhat like buddies,then you go and beat me but let everyone else win. Whats up with that?

(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Oct 11, 2011) Coming up in a week 6 DISDads Fantasy Football battle, the 5-0 Enchanted Tiki Romo , who hope to extend their 5 game winning streak, challenge the 3-2 Duckburg Ducks.

Enchanted Tiki Romo were led in week 5 by a 31.80 point effort from Dwayne Bowe, who beat the Indianapolis Colts defense for 128 receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs. With Bowe on bye in week 6, they'll need to count on their second-string WR to carry the team this week. Based on projections from FantasySharks.com, Enchanted Tiki Romo can expect a 32.25 point effort from Cam Newton in week 6, who is expected to beat the Atlanta Falcons defense for 315, passing yards and 2, passing TDs in addition to 35, rushing yards.

"The intangibles will be the key," Enchanted Tiki Romo coach John Thomas (BigTex71) said.

Duckburg Ducks were led in week 5 by a 31.60 point effort from Fred Jackson, who beat the Philadelphia Eagles defense for 111 rushing yards and 1 rushing TD in addition to 85 receiving yards. In addition, Julio Jones was not injured before the start of his week 5 game, and contributed 4.30 points, but he's listed as out in week 6 due to an injured hamstring , which might severely limit his fantasy production. Based on projections from FantasySharks.com, Duckburg Ducks can expect a 25 point effort from Eli Manning in week 6, who is expected to get by the Buffalo Bills defense for 300, passing yards and 3, passing TDs.

"We're the sentimental favorites," Duckburg Ducks coach Nathan Trent (trennr) said.

This is the first game between these two franchises in 2011, and is sure to be a hard-fought struggle.

:lmao: I love these previews and recap write-ups.

:lmao::lmao:

I'm picking up steam in pick 'em league but still a way to go. There were some challenging spreads for this upcoming weekend.

So, it looks like I go 3-0 this weekend in Fantasy and stink it up in the Pick Em league. What the Beverly? :mad:

Well only 2 teams left with a perfect record. 0-6 :rolleyes1

What else do these teams have in common??? :confused3

Both had the #1 pick in their divisions...and both pick Peyton Manning. :headache::headache:

MOTHER BEVERLY! I had Jasmine's Necklace by the throat, and then lost due to the pick-6 by the Jets defense.

Totally as an aside - did we intend for an interception for a touchdown to be worth so many points? It don't have any quarrel with the award for six points for a touchdown, but the defense gets two points for the INT AND six points for the touchdown. It wouldn't have made a difference in the final outcome of my game - the six points for the TD is what swung the score. 8 points for one play just seems like a lot.

So...no points for an interception? I don't think so.

Doesn't matter if it was a pick 6 or a pick... the D should get credit for it.

Scoring is based on WCOFF... (World Championship of Fantasy Football)

The only thing I tweaked was points for Defenses (points allowed).

WCOFF...Disdads
5............8........for shutouts
2............4........for 1-5pts
1............2........for 6-10pts
0............0........for >10pts

You want some Yuengling straight from the brewery? It is 20 minutes from my house.

I do like six points for the touchdown and two for the pick. A pick six, is a not a very common occurence, especially one for 100 yards. I think you need to keep a TD at 6 regardless of offense of defense.

I agree... same principle as a receiving TD getting points for the catch and points for the TD.
