So there's no action in the Goofy Division all night, so I go to bed. Wake up this morning, go to church, get some donuts, have car trouble, walk across town with the fam in a light drizzle to get the other car to try to jump the broken one and I walk in to an autopick of Vick in the second. Not very happy with the computer right now. Was hoping for Nicks and Austin on the wrap around, but I guess it could have been worse.

On a side note, can I change my team name to Cruella DeVick?

I figured you went to Church...and forgot to check the Draft before hand. Figment made his pick "late"...so check the Board 1st thing in the Mornings. I'll let this go as a warning considering the circumstances.

Yeah, I definitely wanted Clark or Gates, but I'm not going to be the one to start a TE rush. If I couldn't have gotten either of them I'd probably have just waited and grabbed a mid-level TE later on. Gates was definitely a good pick when you got him.

Looking where the other divisions are I am having draft speed envy right now. Had a draft in one of my other leagues today and we came in at 2 hours total. That's pretty fast.

I was planning to use that same strategy, but then I had a couple of RB's fall to me that I couldn't pass on. You might be ok against me, because I'm only going to have RB's on my roster anyway. I really can't decide what to do with my 3rd pick. I wanted a top notch WR, but they all seem to be leaving the board. I hate having the 10th pick. Back to back picks are nice, but it is so long between picks. I guess I'll just stick with taking "the best player available" and worry about filling out positions later.

I have Finley going in the 4th round in all 3 of my leagues. The consensus there is that once you miss out on him and Gates, you pretty much miss out on TE's in the draft. There are the elite 3 or 4 TE's (Clark and maybe Gonzalez would be the other 2), but then there is such a big drop off that Finley gives you a huge advantage.

You've got some solid RB and WR to build on. Your team doesn't look all that bad to me. Make some good picks down the stretch and you can have a pretty good team.

The team DW coaches has a volleyball game this evening so I'll be there. I'm too far away to want to set pre-draft picks for both of my picks so I'll wait to draft manually. I'll be at the volleyball game and try to draft from my phone if it gets back around to me, if not, I will be checking online once I get home... hopefully around 9:00 or 10:00 Eastern. Don't know if it will even come back to me or not by then, but just thought I'd let the rest of the Goofy division know when I might be checking the draft.
