Discussion about Staff

From what I've gathered, staff don't "buy" things unless it's for their own use (such as the pins they were on a "normal" basis). If they need items for building or trade events, they load them into their inventory through some mod panel we of course don't have access to. Back when I was a CL and had several of them on my list, I noticed they would go get their daily credits from the NPCs like everybody else. And talking to a few of them, they would "cry" about how they don't have inferno or whatnot (which I always found funny). So they can't just load anything to their characters for their own use either.

I've also sat in a couple room makeovers and noticed that whenever the host needed a certain amount of items, he/she would be sitting their for a while not doing anything, loading those items into his/her inventory. So I'm guessing whatever mod panel they are using, it's probably just as time consuming as us buying stuff from the shops...or perhaps works like the Quest Kiosk when we're putting in credits as prizes, where we can't enter numbers but just click on the arrows to increment the amounts.

I just thought of this after LDE said something about mod panel...

Can you enlarge it?

Good Information!

That sounds about right, Erin. I've always been under the impression that they use the same tool to add items to their own inventory as they sometimes do to awards prizes to players. Presumably it's organized differently from the shops, which is why, as WWEdude pointed out, there's no 'retired items' shop that's only visible to staff.

That is the way Yavn posted it. I have tried enlarging I can't make heads or tails of what it says.

But how annoying must that be for every five seconds to click a button that says add on it, and find a item you need. lol

It looks like it may have been deliberately blurred out. I guess it was easier to do that than to take a new picture? And for the record, it doesn't look like 'Add' to me. There's no reason why it has to be related to adding items. :-)

The first letter looks like an A

The button says MOD, as for Moderator. I know this because I saw this same button on a Disney Movie Rewards code sheet (the thing that comes in the Disney movies). They had a VMK screen showcasing the Pirate items in VMK and the green MOD button was in the upper left-hand corner.

So what does MOD, stand for in VMK?
