Discovery Wishes and sharing plates

Hi there,
I have a question on the wishes that you get with the Discovery Magic package.
If there are two of us (im going with my mom) and we want to just split a sandwich and a dessert at a sit down restaurant, would the server let us use only one wish? Or do they frown upon that? We were thinking that there may be times when splitting a meal would be enough, but we were wondering if you could do that.
Does anyone have any experience with this?

DH and I never did it when we used our wishes in May of 2001, but I've heard of others who did and the servers did not mind at all. Disney gives so much food and sometimes sharing a plate is a good idea. Remember one thing though, each wish is costing you about $30-$35 a peice, so in sharing a meal, you may lose some money. Just be sure if you're going to share and just use the one wish eat what you paid for. An appetizer, an entree, a small dessert, and a drink. I know it sounds like a lot, but you are sharing and then the one wish you would be using would pay for itself. Did any of that make any sense? Let me know if you have any other questions.

LOL that made total sense, that is just what I was thinking, share an appetizer, a sandwich and a dessert at lunch time. For example we were talking about the Plaza rest. The sandwiches alone are 10.00, and the desserts are 5.00, include a drink, appetizer, tax and tip and we should hit our $30.00 that it costs for the wish.
