I want to book up to do the dolphin swim in October but my mother in law doesn't swim, does anyone know if she can still do it and if you can stand up o.k. in the water?

Your MIL has a few options she can do the

A. non swim option or

B. dolphin swim but not be towed by the dolphin as you have to swim right out in the lagoon and the water is deep - all the other dolphin swim activities are conducted in shallow water.

C. she could get a life vest - there were lots of adults wearing them last time we went to DC!!! This may be the best option as the lazy river is very deep and this would allow her to make use of that too!

Hi
We did the swimming with dolphins last September and my mom cannot swin, in fact she is scared of being in the water. She explained to them and they took her into the shallow water and she still swan with the dolphin and loved it. It is an experience definately not to be missed.

imho the term "swim with the dolphin" is just a term.you really do not swim with the dolphins.as said earlier u get towed along by the dolphins.the interraction is mostly done in shallower waters.the whole experience of the park is fantastic.the dolphins are a big draw but the rest of the park makes the total experience what it is!!!
