Hi Lynne, I would agree to book your day there towards the beginning of your holiday ( but maybe not the first couple of days). It's likely the weather will be at it's best the earlier you're there, but it gives you the flexibility to rebook if the forcast shows a few rainy/stormy days.
I would book it direct with Discovery Cove (unless you find a GREAT DEAL through an agent) , not sure if this is the link you used for the info but
http://www.discoverycove.com is the official site. Anyone I've known that has had a problem come up, DC has been very helpful in trying to accommodate them.
If you're 100% certain you're going to go to DC, then IMHO you might as well book up fairly early to avoid dissapointment. I would first make sure you have
travel insurance and it does cover you if you end up not going to Florida at all. If you have insurance, I can't see it being a problem. Only if you had already paid for DC tickets, then took out insurance, then cancelled could I see the possibility of problems coming up
I'm presuming your hubby would spend the day with you ( and the week at Seaworld) just not take part in the Dolphin swim ?
