Hi guys

Just trying to sort tickets for a 14 day visit and wanted to consider the Discovery Cove visit (2 adults 2 children).

We just cant work out the various offers - the youngsters may not want a swim with them but wife and I will - anyone got any tips on a suitable ticket combo?

Much appreciated,

Dan.

Thanks for that - looks like £520 for 2 adults swimmers and 2 non swimming kids. That apperas to include 14 day Seaworld too....

So if we take off the cost of Seaworld (£250) then its £270 for Discovery Cove for the day - is that good value?? anyone been??

Thanks again, Dan

Gets complicated when you try split it up. You can buy a 1 day (plus 1 free) ticket to Seaworld x4 for £182 or 14 days unlimited to Seaworld & Busch Gardens or Aquatica for £252 (both prices I have included tax)

We have done DC twice. For us, and many others its probably one of the best days you can have in Florida. Just about everything is included, you can eat and drink as much as you want do the Dolphin interaction then swim with fish, see the stingrays, or visit the aviary, also a lazy river.
Only things to pay for are Photos and videos, we didn't like ours so didn't cost anything, 2nd visit I didn't do the dolphin swim so took my own pics.
Not cheap but if you can afford it yes its worth it.

Discovery cove is fantastic. I know its expensive but it really was the highlight of our honeymoon. Not only are there dolphins but the tropical birds and the rays as well as all the fish.

The food was really good and you get all that included in the price. Some say the dolphin swim is not long enough but I think that the way the do it and all the information you get plus just the fact that you get to be in there with them was to me more than worth the price,

The offer for the sea world etc tickets was good and you can go before the date of your visit to discovery cove. All you need to do is take your letter with you to sea world (or bush gardens etc) and show it to the people at the gate and they let you in or once you have been to discovery cove you show your passes you get there.

It was a very relaxing place as they limit the ammount of people each day. At one point it we were the only people in the area with the birds.

We are just back from Discovery Cove and if we went again I think we would leave the Dolphins out. The snorkelling is great, the lazy river is great. The dolphin interaction is finished before its even started, and in my opinion its all far too expensive. Feed the dolphins at Seaworld instead. Then again, if you are desperate to be in the water with them and have a little ride with them then go for it...

Thats how I feel about DC, I love the rest of it but dolphins not worth the money, 2nd visit opted out. On the other hand its the highlight of the trip for DW & DS, worth every penny to them.
I am certainly not against animals/dolphins in captivity but I got a bigger buzz with dolphins swimming and jumping along side our cruise one year than spending 30 mins in with 1.
