Hi guys,

Has anyone ever done Discovery Cove with a little one? Obviously the youngest can't do the dolphin thing, but the older one would love it I think. If we had 2 adults and 1 child doing the dolphin encounter, do we have to split up our dolphin times so that one parent can stay with the little one? Or is there a possibility to do a "baby swap" during the one dolphin encounter?

From what I've seen you can't do a baby swap during the dolphin encounter. Participants need to stay put and follow staff directions. Messing with the routine is not allowed.

We had our 6 year old (and he had just turned 6) do the dolphin swim with us. He did fine and had a total blast! And when it was picture time with the dolphin, one of the trainers very naturally held him up the water while ducking out of the picture as much as possible. It was as though they had helped little ones take pictures a thousand times.
