Discovery Cove in the rain

Ok, we are 1 week away from our first ever Discovery Cove visit. Let me preface this I fully understand Florida weather and how it can change and understand that we are still 7 days out.

As of right now our date is predicted to be 100% chance of rain all day. I did just call DC and they have no other dates with a cabana available this coming week, they can reschedule everything else but that, if we so desire.

So for those that have been there on a rainy day (not just the typical 20 minutes rain shower) did you still have a great time, was it miserable, did you feel like you lost out on the magic or experiences. Any suggestions if it does rain?

I called them just to check and possibly reschedule a day and then move a Disney day around to accomodate the change. But with no Cabana available I am just gonna hold out and hope for not much rain.

Just looking for anyones experience there in the rain. Did all the pics still turn out that they take etc.

Not sure where the weather forecast is from, but we rarely like only in the middle of a hurricane get a 100% all day rain . Don't worry about it. Keep the same day. Only if it is lightning will they ask you to move to safety. Rain will not hurt you since you will already be in a swimsuit and in the water. Just plan on having fun!
