Discovery cove=free tix to SW question...

We are sold on going to DC and can't wait!
One of the extras they offer is a 7 day ticket to either Sea World or Aquatica (or Busch Gardens?).

My question is--- do you have to use that ticket right away.. the next day? a week or so later? or maybe 2 years later?
Or does it have an expiration date?

The pass is for 7 consecutive days. If you were to go to DC on a Sunday the pass to SW would be good Monday-Sunday.

you can use your sea world tickets prior to your discovery cove trip. so if your going to dc on wed. you can go to seaworld on tue. then you have it until mon.

I believe you can go to the other park up to 7 days before your trip to DC. You just have to show your DC paid printout at the tix. booth. Last year we went to BG a few days after our DC trip. Looking back I wished we had gone before. It would have worked out better with our group.

Said another way ... they can be used up to 7 days before, or upto 7 days after.

The first time you use them they will be 'activated' and they will be good for 7 days....

If being used b4, just bring your DC documents to guest services.

Discovery Cove got back to me so I can clarify the answer to my own question...
You can go to Sea World (or Aquatica if you chose that instead) for 7 consecutive days in and around your DC day.

You go to SW and show them your DC receipt and you can get 7 day tickets up to 7 days before your DC day or 7 days after, or have your DC day in the middle of those 7 days.

Frankly, I can't see spending 7 days at Sea World, as great as it is, however, I am glad to know that we can go with such flexibility.

Just to add to that - once you go to DC your id will be used as your ticket. If you go to SW before DC (that's what we did for 3 days), each day you have to go to the guest services/dc window at SW, show your receipt, and get a single day ticket. Not a big deal, but just so you know. HTH!
