Discovery Cove By Myself?

I'm sure you all know that Discovery Cove is pretty pricey.

I am traveling to Orlando alone on July 13th through the 18th. I was planning a trip to London with my boyfriend and we were going to see Michael Jackson, but I'm sure if you have a TV or the internet you're aware that that isn't happening.

I have family in Orlando, a cousin who is my age(I'm 22). We will be spending one day at either cape canaveral, or Siesta Key beaches. And one day at Universal. One day at Sea World...I would love to go to Discovery Cove.

However, she does not have the money at the momment to pay, and I can't pay for her it's just too much money. She may be able to get it the day of, but that is risky. I am thinkng of booking the day at Discovery Cove later today and just risking going alone.

Has anyone ever gone alone? Will this be really awkward for me, or will it be worth it?

I think you would still thouroughly enjoy it. I am very happily married & I have an awesome family, but I also really enjoy doing things by myself sometimes. I, personally, would have a blast there by myself. DH & I had an awesome time at Discovery Cove together, but being able to go at my own pace & do whatever I want, whenever I want would be pretty cool. If you're comfortable doing things solo, I don't think you'll feel awkward at all. Plus, your admission to Discovery Cove also includes a 1 day ticket to Sea World, so maybe you & your cousin can do that together instead.

i did it on my own a few years ago and it was great, it meant i could really enjoy the day doing want i wanted to do and when i wanted to do it. Although when i went with my cousin a few years later I did enjoy it more because we were sharing the experience together.
