Discovering DVC timandlesley style-A PTR, 19 days TRIP REPORT LINK PG.119!!!!!

Yay!!! That's so awesome that you all get to go to Disney World THREE times this year!!! :woohoo: I can't wait to hear when!

You are VERY lucky to have a husband that will go with you to Disney that often.:worship: I have a great husband, but he doesn't even want to go once a year. He says we will get tired of it.:confused3 I won't, but I guess he would. He HATES the 10 hour drive also.:scared1: And I do too, but I love Disney so much that I think I would start flying if he'd go back with me. I just wish he loved it like Tim does. And I don't get it b/c our husbands are SOOOO similar. Mine is a crazy goofball that is always doing something to entertain everyone also (of'course I mean all that in a good way:love:). You'd think he would be like a kid in a candy store at Disney. What's your secret???????????
You're so funny. Tim is like a big kid and he loves Disney just as much as I do, we have developed this love for it together. We honeymooned in Disney and have enjoyed each trip more and more as we watched our kids grow up through our Disney vacations. We just are a Disney lovin' family, I guess I am very lucky in that respect! ; )
Lesley

Another trip? :woohoo::dance3::woohoo: Tell us more!!!
I can't wait to tell you all about it, for some reason Tim wants me to keep the details of our Oct. trip and other trip a secret for a little while, then I'll start pre trips for both, don't you worry!!!
Can't wait for the big reveal!
Me too! You'll have to keep pressuring Tim.
Lesley

Been away for a while, I've got some catching up to do. Just realized the trip is coming fast. I can imagine how exciting it's getting at your house.

Your trip is getting so close!!!

Yay!!! That's so awesome that you all get to go to Disney World THREE times this year!!! :woohoo: I can't wait to hear when!
I know I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Guys!!!!!!!! So sorry I haven't been posting much lately, super super busy at work and with both kids sports schedules. The weather has been nicer so we've been outside enjoying things more too. If you want to read about our latest fun adventure outside with the kids, check out my blog: www.livinglifeaslesley.blogspot.com We had a fun movie night this week for the kids - such fun!
We're officially in the 40's to our Disney Countdown, we're so close I can taste it!:cool1::dance3::yay::woohoo::cheer2::banana:
Every day the kids are arguing over whose turn it is to cross a day off of our countdown calendar, such fun to watch the rows disappearing!
I need to type up our itinerary a final time, all I have now is reservation numbers all over a paper filled with chicken scratch.
Well, I better go hop in the shower for work! School will be out before I know it, always stressful wrapping up the year (TONS of meetings) but the end is in sight and Disney is getting SO CLOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lesley

I checked in on your blog and enjoyed it:

Love the movie night outside with neighbors! It reminded me of sitting out by the All-Star Music pool and watching the big screen. Don't worry - your kids will definitely have times like that as some of their fondest memories.

Good luck with your church decision. It is very important for it to be a good move for the kids. They will make many memories in this place, make lifelong friendships, and may even meet their future mates there, so yes, it is an important, important decision.

I'll second your sentiments on Earth. It is an incredible movie that brought to light even more God's awesomeness. So, so beautiful!

You've got half the time on your Disney countdown as we do. We're at 81 today. Some days that seems like a big number, but with school winding down and other things going on, it does seem like we just did our double digit dancing a few days ago, so I guess it is going pretty fast.

I look forward to lots of good pictures from you and CP and Nicole as we wait.

Good morning!:sunny: Your blog is just great! Loved the movie night you guys did (can you please move to MY neighborhood?) and I wanted to say, very scary with the screens- my oldest DS(14, almost 15) is autistic and does that on a regular basis- well, lately, anyway. He does it from upstairs, too- it is REALLY scary!:scared1: It's so good your DD will listen to you and not do it again. Mine hasn't done it again in a few days, so I'm hoping that's the end of it.

We had the same dilemma as you with church, too! We were very attached to our old church which was 1/2 hour away, and we did not switch to a new one until DS14 was 2 1/2- and we ended up switching to the church that he attended his 1st year of preschool with. It has been such a wonderful thing through the years, for all the reasons you mentioned. We are best friends with other families in the church, we actually just went on vacation together in OBX, and the programs like middlers, and kingdom kids for my youngest have been great- they are really forming fantastic bonds with their friends from church. So, it's out there- you'll find the right one- and I know it's hard to leave a church family where you're so happy, but for your kids to be with friends near your home and be able to DO the church activities because they can fit in with all the other sports etc things going on because it's near your home- well, it will all be worth it.:thumbsup2

Good luck with finishing up school! I know how much you must be looking forward to it! My mom is a teacher, and my dad is a principal, so the end of the school year was always a HUGE deal growing up! Too bad I'm stuck in an office this summer... :headache: Anyway...good luck finishing it all up!!! Disney will be the perfect "end of the year celebration!!" :dance3:

Good luck with finishing up school! Are you using the iphone templates for itinerary? If not, theres another way to get your itinerary on there! If you're using microsoft word or something similar there are apps like Air Sharing and Files lite (free) that let you put these things on the iphone!

I'm planning on hounding Tim for the information if I catch him in chat this week...........

Hey, guess what!!!???!!! We booked a 4 night Disney trip using points yesterday, Tim doesn't want me to reveal when yet so stay tuned, we'll be going to Disney 3 times this year I am SO EXCITED:banana::cool1: Gotta love Disney Vacation Club.
Well, I hope you guys have wonderful weekends, I'm headed to the wet soccer fields for Laurens game and still waiting to see if Luke's baseball game is on or not.
Lesley

I.am.jealous. !!!!!!
Awesome for y'all, though! :cool1:

I was reading my AllEars newsletter this morning, and I didn't know if you've had a chance to check this out:

Kidani Village looks absolutely incredible!!! Good luck on trying to switch your ressie! :thumbsup2

Hey Tim and Lesley!!! Hey I posted this the other day, and didn't know if this would work for paying for the dining plan....thought I would repost in case you missed it......

Could you put the cash for your dining on a Disney gift card and then use that when you check in to pay for it??? Just wondering!!!

Also--wanted you to know Megan has two Cinderella costumes, so I would be more than happy to loan one out for Lauren if you would like....they are probably around the same size. Let me know!!!

We also have KI passes this year---would be so fun running into you there sometime!!! I can't wait for the waterpark to open!

Thanks for posting about the Magical Express extra tags. We're flying in on the 21st too on Southwest. I just called and ordered them.

Hey Lesley, What a great thing you did for all the kids in the neighborhood with the movie!! That looks like so much fun. I'm sure the kids will fondly remember
all these great times & things you do together as a family. Heck in 16 days we are off to Disney again & my "kids" are 20 & 16 & still want to vacation as a family. I can't wait!! (Although I am starting to wonder if they will ALWAYS want to come with us:lmao:)!!!

Good luck with finding your new church family. I am sure that wherever you decide to go that the Lord is watching & helping also. Having kids with sports & activities I know how busy you are!! My 16 year old is always into a sport & keeps us going constantly. That is one reason I love vacationing together. No sports schedules or other places to run to (except to the parks of course) & we spend time all together.:) Your trip is getting close also!!

Glad to hear you bought into DVC! Looking forward to reading your trip report. I've enjoyed your previous ones.

I don't post much but I just wanted to let you know that I am enjoying your blog AND your ptr.

Finally caught up again - I just can't seem to keep up with all my DIS stuff these days. I love your blog! I'll be praying with you about your new church. I can't believe your trip is coming up so quickly! It seems like we just finished your last TR! I know it seems like forever for you! I can't wait to see how you like travelin' DVC!:cool1:

Hats off to Tim ! The movie night was a great idea ... one I am sure your kids and all the neighborhood kids will remember.

Thanks for the review of the Earth movie. My hubby and I went to see it for our anniversary and we both loved it. Can't wait for the one next year on Oceans.
