Your bedroom looks fabulous!! DH and I celebrated our 10th anniversary before we got our new room. I remember afterwards it was my favorite room in the house and wished we could entertain there instead of the living room. Both kids (at the time we only had two, now we have 3) had full bedroom sets before we bought ours.

Today was clean house day and tomorrow we take down our big suitcases to start packing. I can't pack in a mess. Danielle has to clean her floor before I put the suitcase in her room.

The excitement is really building!!!

Yaaaay!! Im so excited for you guys!! I booked my October trip today finally, I was going through withdrawals! I'm staying at POFQ after a huge struggle to convince myself staying at WL just wasn't in the budget. You guys know how that is, it was really tough but french quarter is such a nice hotel, and the person i'm going with has only stayed at WL, never any other WDW hotel, so thats a major plus!!

ANYWAY, your bedroom looks great! I can only imagine from your description what it was before!! Enjoy packing and counting down these final moments. It never stops amazing me how one minute you're 8 months away, and in the blink of an eye, you are 8 days away!!

That bedroom looks lovely. Our house is exactly the same, all our rooms are decorated and furnished lovely except ours! Have said we will get round to it soon! Love the colours.

Nicole, you are going to love POFQ. We were just looking at our old Disney photo albums yesterday and Luke was begging to go back there, it is a lovely resort, love the pool! I know, time sure does fly, I'm so excited!

Very cool, Luke was asking. Luke will be nine in February. Cool you get to celebrate his b-day in Disney, Luke keeps begging for us to go on his bday- someday!

We found the bedspread at Target, it all just came together! Yes, made a lot of progress packing yesterday so that made me REALLY happy!

Your bedroom looks so nice, just like those redecorating shows on TV. I love the colors, and the furniture is beautiful. We all have been in the same situation, just use whatever furniture we have so that we can save money. But you really will enjoy your sanctuary, and it is easier to keep clean because of how nice it looks.
One more week, these are for the kids, and you and tim too. Have a great weekend.

OKAY, I finally caught up in the flurry of posts from this week! What a fabulous bunch of pictures and fun details. Can't believe the trip is this close. WOW. Can't wait to hear all about these final countdown notes! I think this is great. I just love hearing everyone's anticipation, it gets me excited for our trip too! We have two weeks now!

Great finds at Target, target is my favorite store EVER. Bedroom post, can't wait to see it! Going to go check it out... How is that memory foam mattress, btw???

Alright guys, you asked for it.......... you got it...........

This time next week (Saturday June 21st)
We will be on an airplane headed for Walt Disney World!

We will be high fiving guys with Mickey hands in the airport

We will VERY HAPPILY be aboard a Magical Express bus:

We will check into the Animal Kingdom Lodge for the very first time and hear our first "WELCOME HOME" from the Disney Vacation Club.

We will check out our room and settle in ; )

Then we will grab a bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios:

By the time we get to the parks there probably won't be any fast pass times left, but hopefully we'll get to squeeze a ride in on this:

Maybe get to see one of my favorite Disney street performances:

And maybe, just MAYBE, if I'm really really lucky and pixie dust is in my favor I'll get to squeeze in a ride on this:

We will eat a super late dinner at Sci Fi (the kids are SO excited):

Then we'll head back via bus to the Animal Kingdom Lodge and get all snuggled into our beds for sweet dreams of what we'll be doing the next day...............

Love your "this time next week" post. We're flying in on Sunday too, but too late to hit a park. Our plans are to hit DTD and make a treat at Goofy's to hopefully eat on all week.
