i'm glad you guys have been having good weather too! it's been so nice here - in the high 70's! which is crazy because just a week ago it snowed. but it's supposed to be back in the 40's by the weekend.
i'm so over winter and it's only snowed once here!
i like cold weather for about 2 weeks right around christmas and then i'm done with it. i'm so ready to move to florida from october to april!!!!!! hey, i've got an idea. let's get about 5 dissers together and purchase a house somewhere near WDW and we can take turns living there in the winter.
oh, yeah.....there's that thing called a job and a mortgage that we all have to worry about - i forgot.
i hear a lot of people are waiting on TGM. i like his service but that just sort of ticks me off. it seems like when you pay for something he'd be prompt about posting it on his website so you'd get what you paid for in a timely manner. i'm thinking next trip i may try out touringplans to see how i like it. i've heard good things about it, too!

I agree, SO done with winter, unfortunately it was in the 30's here today, HUGE BUMMER! I hated getting my winter coat out again. I can't complain too much about TGM because he has the dates for the people in early June out who can make their ADR's now, as long as he has the rest of the month done before my window opens on the 21st he won't be on my bad list

Very cool, we will definitely have to go back again with the kids, but for Food and Wine I always promised myself I would do it the first time without kids, should be such fun, especially if we can get into Bay Lake Tower!!!

MNSSHP goes, i totally understand waiting to go with the kids sometime. but if you can make your schedule work, i HIGHLY recommend watching the fireworks from somewhere nearby MK. they are AMAZING!
i know it's a short trip for you buys so it may not be possible but just thought i'd mention it.

It truly was, back to cold here today which was a bummer, poor Luke had soccer practice tonight, he was FREEZING!. I agree, can't wait for the FWF just the two of us

The weather has been fantastic, I wish it would stay that nice. Lauren's hair looks cute! Waiting for TGM is not fun.... but he should have them done soon. I call Monday, so I hope he is done before then.

Lauren's hair looks so cute!! It will be cooler for her in that HOT Florida heat. I am so jealous of all of you with your 70 degree weather!! Over the weekend here in NH it was around 55 & we thought that was great!! Our snow was melting & then we got 5 more inches on Monday. And it is snowing & turning to rain right now. Anxious to see all your purchases. Can you tell I like to shop I enjoy seeing what everyone buys.

Good for you to stick with your "adult weekend". I have the same problem with wanting the kids along for everything but it is also SO important for that adult time. Sounds like you made a good switch in dates. You will enjoy it being less crowded, especially since you will only be there a couple days.
Thanks, we'll do our best to stick to it, so hard when you have kids who love Disney so much, especially knowing it's the Halloween party then, but I think we'll do it, we want to do Food and Wine alone : )

Hi all,
we were just talking about our adult weekend in may and how maybe we should just bring our son. I feel so guilty leaving him home! But like you and Tim I think we are too going to keep it an adult trip, it's important to do that once in a while. I never thought I would feel so bad about not bringing him though. As long as he doesn't find out that is where we will be we should be all set.
I know how you are feeling, I think we'll stick to our guns, only time will tell

That's great that you guys are still able to go during F&W Festival! We will be there October 17-24! We love going for the festival and for MNSSHP!!! I completely understand why you want to wait to do the Halloween party. When you do get a chance to go and take the kids they will love it! We have always had so much fun! Can't wait to see your Disney purchases!

I definitely second this idea , the fireworks are not to be missed. And since you technically wouldn't be at the party it shouldn't bother the kids. The other fun thing we did was to hang out near the monorail/boat launch sometime between 5-7pm. That way you can watch everyone coming in with their costumes on. So creative, and festive. But beware, you may decide to purchase a ticket..............
